Good book.
Good book. Very informative. I like how it is in order according to complexity. The not so difficult and small, chickens, goats, pigs, birds?, donkeys, lamas and alpacas, cattle, then horses. The bird section in the middle is a little out of place, but still nice.

The cover shows sheep - NO SHEEP inside
Found this book very helpful as an introduction ... BUT .... It shows a sheep on the cover, seriously?!one of the reasons I bought itThis book does not address sheep. Find a different book for sheep. like The New Livestock Farmer.

Does not cover sheep
Surprisingly the book does not cover rabbits. And I found it slightly annoying that despite the picture of a sheep on the cover it also doesn't mention them either, but does cover Llamas and Alpacas. If you're looking for a guide on raising farm animals, I suggest you start by writing down all the animals you're interested in and then researching them all individually. Compilation books like this barely scratch the surface of what you need to know about each animal.
