Fit perfect inside 2006 BMW 325- brings a bright improvement!
Fit into a 2006 BMW 325 with solid results- these offered a far brighter performance above the factory issue bulbs. Lights also fit into a socket that had not had any upgrade or adapter added.. each light has a built-in fan and yet, is small enough to insert without size concern. Replacing standard headlight these are responsive for headlights on bright and dim.Installation is a little complex because of the vehicles design- having to gain access under the front wheel hub.. we found the access door to the headlight compartment a bit tricky do open bc of unique placement.. HACK: be certain to turn the wheel hard left and then, hard, right on the opposite side so to create as much space as possible to work and gain access in this small uncompromising space. Once exposed- The bold exchange was straightforward and fit, as expected into the standard clamp and securely held in the socket. YouTube videos help provide a solid tutorial. Results were far brighter and offered a larger throw than factory option. For any wanting to exchange or needing to replace.. this is a straightforward solid fit for the vehicle above. Hoping info can help you- stay safe everyone.

A bit fragile, but much less hassle than old two piece lights
I was looking to replace high beam LEDs in my 2005 Mini Cooper. The old LEDs were bright and reliable, however, with their external driver box and the rather bulky cooling braids, they filled the back of the light housing completely. It was so tight that the HID level adjust was not working right because the entire reflector assembly could not tilt enough.Enter these all in one H7 bulbs. Super small, almost as small as the OEM halogen bulbs. See comparison images. The LEDs on the bulb are placed perfectly where the halogen light emits, reducing any potential glare by misalignment of the light source. The thin round base is perfect for the way the Mini Cooper 2005 high beams are designed, as the base needs to be clipped beneather three springs. Other LEDs, like my old bulby ones, are rather thick around that base and are extremely difficult to install. Even though these Cougar Motor bulbs are just as thin as the steel base OEM halogen bulbs, the material is rather brittle, so caution when installing. I was a bit rough pushing too hard, expecting the resistance older bulbs have shown. The result was that one of the alignment tabs broke off. The base is cast aluminum. Great for heat conduction, but not so durable. The bulb still installed, though and with manual alignment should work fine (it's a high beam, so really no big deal).Brightness: these bulbs are clearly brighter than a standard OEM H7 halogen, but not dramatically so. The old LEDs I replaced were actually brighter (see picture with beam against ceiling. Left is Cougar Motor H7, right is my old LED with external driver). I am happy to give up some brightness for the more or less OEM install.Cooling is provided by tiny high-revving fans in these bulbs. You can hear them when your engine is off, but it isn't very loud. You won't hear this in the car while driving.I can't comment on durability, because being used for high beam in a car with HID low beams means they rarely get powered up for more than a few seconds anyway.Color temp is a cool white, matching my OSRAM HID bulbs quite nicely. These bulbs are a nice upgrade for my car and can recommend them. Just be gentle when installing them.
