installing on bedroom door??
WORD OF ADVICE, I have these on all my outside doors as well as my interior bedroom door, IF you are going to install this on a bedroom door like me (and lock it while you sleep/or whatever) please PLEASE keep a screwdriver and a hammer in the room with you, my lock got stuck and I woke up half asleep, I couldn't get out of my bedroom, my hands we literally almost bleeding as I could not pry it unstuck with my hands all I had in my bedroom was a pocket knife, I don't know why it got stuck? but from now on you better believe I have a few tools I keep in my bedroom with me (just in case)I do absolutely 💯 LOVE these locks they do what they are supposed to, easy to install , easy to use (please keep in mind this was the only time, 1 lock out of 3, 1 time in over 4 months of repeated daily/nightly use) please don't take this as a bed review just a word of caution I wish I had thought of and I STILL feel quite silly aftet realizing I hadn't thought of this scenario (hense the review)

Would recommend
Not only are these great for just giving you a sense of security while you’re inside your house that your child is not going to get out. It’s an additional sense of security at night when I rest as a single mom knowing that what’s outside can’t get in. It was easy to install, I did use an electric drill and had to chisel out a notch so that they would fit correctly with my doors. Very easy overall.

Safety first
OMG! These locks are perfect, and I enjoy the extra support and reassurance of my safety in my home. Looking forward to purchasing more. 3 for the price one is a perfect way to see if your going to like them or not. The cons were I had to drill whole in to line them up in my door. I would have been nice to know exactly what drill bit to use.

Great for elopers
These were recommended by CPS for my 3yo eloper. They work great and I’ve got them installed on multiple doors including the laundry room door.

Word of the day: chisel
Solved our toddler sneaking into the garage problem! Lol. We installed it out of his reach at adult eye level. Also, get it done right, installing it over the door frame without chiseling a mortise—just like for an hinge—or any other minor modification is just sloppy work. Mark, chisel, test, chisel some more, drill and install. Super easy.

Great additional safety feature!!
We bought these because my toddler learned how to unlock a deadbolt & I’ve been so happy with them! They keep my kids safe from trying to go in the garage or outside by themselves. I like that they are high up so my kids have no possible way of unlocking them! Super easy to use and would definitely recommend.
