Very thin and easy to store in your tackle box. It will do tare weights, you just connect your bag to the hook before you turn it on and it zero itself out. Has several memory settings that will give you a total bag weight for the number in the memory slots. This will be a really nice feature for tournament fishing at the end of the day to have an estimated weigh in total in a tournament. Type c charger cable comes with it. Easy instructions also comes with it. Didn’t have a problem seeing the screen in the daylight.

Good battery life between charges, very accurate. I would have given 5 stars but the clip for the fish is all plastic and mine broke on first use. Not a problem as you can weigh a fish without the clip by using the hook instead of the clip.

All in all works great for not only weighing but measuring fish (especially for folks like me who have to fumble in their tacklebox for each (this one tool has both integrated within the tool itself).Pros:1) Lightweight2) Don't have to worry about locating your measuring tape after you weighed fish since the tape is integrated with the tool3) The plastic lip-gripper is sturdy enough to handle big fish without it breaking4) If you take the attachable lip-gripper off you can use it to weigh your baggage for the 50 lb limit if you don't want to lug around your floor scale5) Recharging feature is great since if this came with the disposable battery I would probably just use it once then discard the whole thingCons:1) A bit bulky (may be harder to carry around for folks with small tackleboxes2) If you have the lip gripper unattached then I imagine it takes a bit to time (not too much but a minute or two) to locate the piece and attach it to the scale before gripping the fish and weighing/measuring it.All in all I give this 4.5 stars.

I love this scale , I use it on my propane tanks to know how much propane I have left. Scale is very accurate. I’ve used this now for 6 months with no problem

Fish gripper is nice. The scale is super annoying to try to use while handling a live fish. It got dropped in the lake...don't miss it.

Quality for a great price. I have a few Kastking products now. I need to get myself a bag for tackle and some boxes next. This scale works well and has a backlight which you want when it is sunny and bright outside, that contrast helps. It's orange, so good luck losing it! It comes with a lip grip to weigh fish and that is nice to have.
