BBQ gas regulator. Worked like a charm
My built in bbq was not working like it should. So glad I found this regulator. It fixed my problem and saved me a ton of money. I would have had to pay someone to come fix it $$ or worse buy a new bbq $$$$.

Works well, but I had to adjust it to increase the gas flow as my grill was not getting hot enough.
It seems to be a high quality regulator, all connections were easy to make. After using my grill again after replacing my old regulator with this one, I found that the grill was not getting hot enough even on the high setting. I removed the screw cap and adjusted the gas flow using a screwdriver, and then did it a second time to get the flames to the right heat level. Now the grill is back to normal heat range.

Fixed a 2008 Weber Summit 4-Burner Grill
My 2008 natural gas Weber Summit grill had never gotten extremely hot from the day I purchased it and recently could not get above 300° . Called Weber and sent some pictures and then never heard back from them. I decided to take matters into my own hands by buying both a new natural gas regulator and hose from Amazon. Luckily, the brand of this item was exactly the same as the original but the fitting sizes were a little different from the original. I was able to adapt the new regulator with parts from Home Depot and then attached the new gas line. The grill got much hotter right away. I did decide to adjust the regulator a little (yes, mine was adjustable) and turning clockwise did seem to increase the pressure and the grill got a little hotter. I was able to get to about 525°, which seems to be the norm for both natural gas and propane grills. There are no instructions included with this (so 4 out of 5 stars) so I had to deduce from the schematic that I found online what direction to turn the adjustment screw on this regulator to increase pressure. I guessed right luckily (clockwise to increase pressure)... It is hard to say what exactly what fixed the problem but by replacing both the regulator and the hose, I got my Weber working great!

Good Product!
This is a good product. I opted to replace the propane regulator supplied along with my new LPG optioned Cooktop. I chose this unit given its pressure adjustability (which I didn’t have to change from factory default) and the 3/4” openings vs 1/2” on the old unit. I’m now getting greater column flow and better atomization to the burners resulting in an flame is now fully blue. Previously the tips of the flames were tipped in white occasionally leaving a black mark on the surface of the pan.

Wrong Specifications
This is not as the description says. It is 3/4" threaded in and out. You'll need 3/4" to 1/2" reducer if you're working with 1/2" black pipe. Secondly, the product description says 3"-6" WC out, which is typical for natural gas, which is also in the description. The sticker on the regulator I received says 'Po 5" - 12"'. Bottom line, this regulator is for propane, not natural gas.
