DEMA Simp Egg Tray

I ordered this item from KG Homewares. It was dispatched in a plastic bag and a scant amount of bubble wrap. The item somehow (not surprisingly) came loose from the bubble wrap and arrived on my doorstep in a number of pieces. Who ships ceramics in a plastic bag?????That issue aside, the item is good quality and I will try to obtain one from another source as what remains of the item is nice quality hence my 5 star review.So if you want a nice ceramic egg box get one of these but be careful who you buy from.Edited to add:I contacted KG Homewares and they immediately sent a replacement which this time was properly packaged and protected with an additional cardboard sleeve.I am now delighted with the product. It is a very nice addition to the kitchen and more practical than the traditional ceramic hen egg storage.

Arrived very promptly and looks great on shelf in my kitchen (so much better than a tatty old cardboard egg box).I use it for the eggs from our own three chickens who each produce different coloured eggs so organising them by date is not too tricky. If they all laid the same colour eggs, I would have bought an egg ramp where they are automatically stored in date order

This is a neat way of storing eggs, especially if you keep a few hens and you want to keep the eggs in date order. It only stores a dozen, though, so if you've got flocks of chickens it's probably not for you.And the sellers are terrific - my first one arrived chipped and they replaced it immediately, no questions asked.

Just what I wanted now my husband will not break anymore eggs, it is neat and compact and fits on the work surface.

Simple clean design fits nicely into my kitchen as we use a lot of eggs. My only comment to improve it would be to offer a larger one as 12 is rarely enough.
