Wonderful book is stuck on us!
I have purchased Octonauts Creature Report two times. Both times it was for my son, who is 3, and in love with the Octonauts. Not only is this book very informative and interesting, it is also very engaging, even for little ones. My son loves to read and learn about all of the intriguing creatures and look at the colorful art. He also loves all of the included stickers! The book has held up to my rambunctious son very well. My only reason for purchasing it a second time is for more of the fantastic animal, Octonaut, and Gupp stickers. I highly recommend this book for anyone who likes the Octonauts.

Great book...bad binding.
My almost three year old loves this book. He has been fascinated with sea creatures for as long as I can remember. This book is great for learning about sea life but also connects back his memory to the Octonauts episodes. However, as others have said, the construction of the book is not holding up for a child's book. By the second time through I noticed pages were loose...shortly thereafter they started falling out. Since its more of a magazine style book I'm not surprised. That said I'm putting the pages in sheet protectors in a three ring binder...so we don't lose any creatures. :)

Good identification book of octonaut creatures
I am really happy with this purchase. These books get used continuously. It has very useful information about all the Ocean creatures they encounter in the octonaut stories. We are learning new and fascinating things. It gives the kids a feeling of confidence as they can easily research creatures - it's very user-friendly. We have a book for each child. The pages are beautifully illustrated. Each page has wonderful color saturation and are thick with a sheen to them. Our books are holding up perfectly and we've had them for a year. The binding is done very well on our books. Our books are used all the time and they look great! There are four pages of stickers in the back of the book. This is a very well-made book that is interesting and entertaining to read!

Pages fall out like sad, sad fall leaves.
My daughter loves the content of this book. But it isn't worth the purchase unless you accept in advance that you will have to pay to have it immediately rebound. 10 pages fell out immediately (with the mildest turn of a page) so I sent it back and received another one. Entire chunks of the second book immediately fell out. The binding is the absolute poorest work since the invention of the printing press. It's a shame they couldn't have spent the extra dime to make such a fun and informative book usable. Right now all the pages are spread around my kitchen as I individually glue them into place, with little hope of success, and price out how much I will have wasted when I go to Staples to just have it spiral bound. Really, really irritated.

Love the Octonauts - but buy the older version of this book for more active learning.
Our girls LOVE anything Octonauts. They love it so much that this is our second purchase of the Creature Report book. However - I would highly recommend buying the older version of this (from 2013) if you can find one. The older version has many more stickers and a different set-up - on each 'creature' page, the child seeks out several stickers to add to the page - a small picture of the fish, a sticker for the zone of the sea that the creature is in (sunlight, twilight, midnight) and then the stickers representing the food the creature eats. This was the part that my 3 year old loved best and was the main way that she was actively learning when we used this book. She learned a ton from it and looked forward to completing each page with the needed stickers. There are also several pages of additional stickers of the creatures themselves and the Octonauts. The new version (this one) doesn't have any of the 'to do's' that the old one did - and it seems like less pages of stickers. Much more passive and not as fun for the kids. If they haven't seen the old version, they might not care. I just ordered a few more copies of the old version, to use when we finish up with this one.

Great content, crappy binding
My 4 year old daughter loves this book. I love that she loves it. Whenever we talk about a sea animal or the Octonauts come on TV, she runs to her room to grab the book, flips to the creature report for it, and has me read it to her. There are (or were) pages of pretty awesome stickers at the back. This *should* make it a 5 star review, however, the quality of the book is very poor. Pages fell out the first time we read it, and it quickly got worse. My wife brought the book to Kinko's and had them add a spiral binding, which has solved the problem. Even so, that's not something that I would expect to have to do to a book.

My little Octonaut fan's favorite book. I was skeptical that she would be interested in this at all since it is a bit like an encyclopedia but she LOVES it. We have read the entire book a couple times over and she loves the little badges to put on each animal after it has been read. I love the pictures and the amazing facts. The crew quotes are so cute and this is a very educational but fun book. I love hearing my daughter tell people about ocean creatures and quoting amazing facts about them. She has an immense understanding of the different ocean zones thanks to this book.
