Good deal
Cheap way to keep your feet warm on a bike. I bought these for riding a trike in winter parades, I think they'll be fine. God bless America!

Nordic Gear Heated socks
I love having heated socks and have recommended these to other people who work outside during the winter. I did feel they ran a bit small. I ordered medium (which is the size that should have fit me) and they are smaller and shorter that I would prefer.

Battery life is terrible!
I ordered these and sent them straight back. I didnt try them on or turn them on. Was not listed in the product info on Amazon about the battery life. When I got the box I read on the packaging that they require 1 D battery each sock, and the battery life is UP to 6hrs per battery , or 2-3hrs using rechargeable batteries. I wanted socks that I could use daily for a whole day skiing- this would mean I would get through 2 D batterys per day and still only have a short day of warmth.I have no idea how warm they get but the wire for heating is only in the toe.Disappointed with Nordic.

just as described
The socks showed up when they said they would and they work as described. Your feet must be somewhat cold to notice the heat but they work well.

Threw them out.
They kinda worked. They weren't awful. But I was hiking 40 miles in the cold and they just weren't worth it. I threw them out the first chance I had. They also use a bunch of D batteries. So those were heavy and had to be replaced. Not a good purchase. Just get proper liners and smart wool socks and you'll be set.
