Does increase cast distance.
I am very happy with this product as I had wanted to get some braid after reading about braid versus mono. I did not want to spend a fortune as I wanted to test out if it would increase my cast distance.Due to the how thin this is I got the whole spool on my real so there was no wastage which was also a bonus. I have not caught anything yet while using this so I stuck to 4 stars but it has definitely increased my casting distance and I am using a telescopic rod. No tangles or wind knots and I have used it in 20 plus mph wind. So very happy with this for the price and will buy again.

Thin diameter for breaking strain
Thin line which means more line on reel. And less drag in a tide run. Casts well. Need a shock leader if casting lead weight.Great product excellent service.

Better suited for clear water.
This line is better suited for waters which are not too murky as the colours are lighter and a bit bright I must say in places. The line sits tidy on the spool and smoothly lines up from on side to the other without forming any peaks. It is supple and comes off the spool easily even when stronger force is applied for casting. There is no stretch in it so I could feel everything that was hitting the line and every snag. The line if left by itself would form a rigid rig and without any elasticity at all there is a higher risk of losing the fish due to breaking its lip or simply coming unhooked when fighting and that's why I personally prefer to add a line with elasticity as well, to my hooklink, like monofilament or fluorocarbon.
