Cleans wellcand very compact pods.
These pods are no joke when it comes to fragrance! The "Sweetest Taboo" scent is a delicious blend of red pomegranate, white woods, and peony. It fills the laundry room while washing and leaves a subtle but lovely lingering scent on clothes. These pods also cleaned my clothes effectively. They got rid of everyday dirt and sweat, and my laundry came out looking fresh and clean. No more scooping or measuring detergent! These pre-measured pods make laundry day a breeze. Just toss one in the washer and you're good to go. The 30-pack size is perfect for smaller households or those who don't do laundry super often. They're also a good option to take along on trips because they're compact and lightweight. The price is a bit high compared to other brands but fair value for the quality and effectiveness.

Will not purchase this again.
I was eager to try these laundry pods, as I have tried other luxury brands. The packaging was the first issue. The child proof bag was nearly impossible to get open, even though I followed the directions. Once the bag was open I couldn't get it to seal again. What's the point then? In addition, the quality of the box seemed cheap and didn't even indicate the scent of the pods anywhere on it. They seem to wash as well as store bought brands, but the scent was non existent. I might as well have gotten a store bought brand and saved the money. I spent more money so that I can have the fragrance and even tried two pods for a small load to see if it helped, which it didn't. I don't recommend purchasing Hotel Collection Laundry Pods. Overall these pods are more expensive than the other luxury brands I have tried, too. I don't mind spending a little more for the luxury brands, but I want to get what I'm paying for.

3.5 Stars - Laundry Detergent For Fancy People
I have incredibly sensitive skin, but I enjoy a nice scent just as much as the next human. These pods from Hotel Collection are labeled as paraben free, hypoallergenic and vegan (apparently laundry detergent needs to be vegan now?). They also cost $65.95 for a box of 45 pods. If you go on their website, the price is half.Hotel Collection also uses Scott Disick as a spoke person, which made me immediately want to throw all of the laundry pods in the trash. The pods I ordered are the Black Velvet pods and are inspired by the Edition Hotel in New York. I have never been. The idea is, you travel to your favorite hotel, you enjoy the scent of their rooms, you buy the Hotel Collection's overpriced soaps and detergents so your house can smell the same. In theory this is a good idea, in practice, I am not sold.Pros:This soap is packaged really well. For just about $70 I would expect really nice packaging and they did deliver on that. The box was neat and tidy and the pods are in a resealable zip top bag. None of the pods were damaged during shipping, which I was surprised because when I picked one pod up it felt like it was going to burst from me just touching it. It felt flimsy. The directions are very clear - use dry hands, one pod for regular loads, for front load washers place pod in the back of machine and run as normal, for top load machine rearrange your life because you will now be adding 5 to 6 minutes to every load of laundry to use these pods, add clothes and do laundry. The scent is pleasant enough. It smells floral. Their website shows a black box for the Black velvet pods, but my box is cream and it has the card for the Black Velvet pods (not the Sweetest Taboo pods). This is what their site says I should be smelling (it also states "subtle bay leaves" and I'm not sure why I would ever want my laundry to smell like bay leaves):Top Notes: Lemon, Bergamot, Black FigMiddle Notes: Freesia, Rose, CedarwoodBase Notes: Amber, Musk, Blonde WoodsCons:Price. This is seriously fancy soap. If you are buying these laundry pods on a regular basis then you have money to spare and I am VERY proud of you. I do not have Hotel Collection laundry pod money. I have Tide Free and Clear money.Directions. If you have a top loading washing machine these pods require you to fill your machine with water first, add the pod, let it agitate to distribute the soap and then add your clothes. My questions are: who has time to do this and if they do not do this what is going to happen?Ingredient list: The ingredient transparency is bad. Hotel Collection lists three ingredients - surfactants and fragrance enzymes. For people with allergies, this is a nightmare of a situation. What kind of surfactants? What types of enzymes? What fragrances?

Pods
The media could not be loaded. These pods surprised me I thought it was going to be a super strong smell which could be bad if you have sensitive skin but nope these were perfect and really got the job done giving that soapy effect during the wash and making my clothes clean with just a fresh smell not too strong
