Not too heavy for older folk to handle. Easier to use on damp soil. Ultra quick delivery and very good value.Nice deep hole in ground very small hole in the pocket. DH

Took 5 seconds to dig holes . Love it . Should have had it years ago .

Hand auger
Works a treat although I suggest that you only operate in stages. Clay soil tend to stick like mad and is difficult to clean off....plus takes lots 9f effort to pull up. But gives great hole probably wider than 100mm. Very robust tool.
