VViViD Bycast65 Black Quilted 3" x 3" Diamond Pattern Padded Marine Vinyl Roll (5ft x 54")

I used this material for my vehicle's headliner. It holds up quite well, even though this isn't what it was made for. It feels and looks luxurious and has become the focal point of my car's interior.It has a nice look but people won't necessarily think it is leather.I should note the backing can separate at parts when cut around the pseudo stitching. The pattern appears to be heat pressed, no stitching used and the backing appears bonded by heat not adhesive. If light is behind the material it can show through these heat welded points (see attached picture).

The thickness is mostly cosmetic and feel, it is still too thin for any sound absorption or impact protection. No surprise, just a reminder. The adhesive and application is easy to work with. Surface holds up well to daily handling so far.

Beautiful product, worked great on hot rod. Good quality material. Will buy again when needed.

I bought this to reupholster my headboards. I have a twin bed which serves as a day bed so I have a long board that runs along the long side of the bed and a traditional headboard. I custom made both of them (see photos).This upholstery has exactly the look I was going for. It looks and feels somewhat like real leather. I wouldn’t say it feels just like leather but it doesn’t feel like cheap vinyl either. It’s what you would expect pleather to look like but with a great texture stamped on it. Someone else said it doesn’t look like the photos. I don’t know what they mean. It looks almost exactly like the photos. I would say it looks even better in person actually.My end result would have been better if I had more upholstery tacks but I made do with what I had. You can see that I only used four on the short board and 6 on the long board. That was to simply secure the fabric to the front of the board so it wouldn’t sag.There was one problem I had with the fabric. I bought both the 5 foot roll and the 10 foot roll. The 5 foot roll was 3 inches short of 5 feet (57 inches) and I had to really stretch the fabric because my short board is 54 inches. The long roll was the correct length. But my advice to the seller of the product is to make sure you cut the fabric to the right length because people who buy it are relying on accurate measurements.Also, the squares stamped into the fabric are not 3”x3”. They are about 1.5”x1.5”.Note: if you intend to use this to upholster a custom headboard, you will need foam to go underneath this fabric. It is not thick enough on its own to give it the typical look of a tufted headboard. The foam I used is not thick enough either. I just wanted to reupholster the boards that I already have. I recommend watching a YouTube video on how to make a true tufted headboard if that’s what you intend to use this fabric for. No fabric has the necessary foam backing for a tufted headboard. I would say the foam you get should be at least one inch thick. Thicker will give you a better result.

I used this stuff in my car to replace the gross cloth in my door cards and it looks amazing. It was super easy to work with too I’m definitely going to buy more to finish up my car ☺️
