I recently purchased the PolarcoForgeco Retractable Garden Hose Reel and I'm very happy with it. It's a great way to keep my garden hose organized and out of the way.Pros:Retractable: The retractable feature is a huge plus. It makes it easy to reel in the hose when I'm finished using it, and it keeps the hose from getting tangled. It retracts pretty seamless and the speed is efficient and safe.Wall-mounted: The wall-mounted design is very convenient. It keeps the hose off the ground and out of the way.90 ft length: The 90 ft length is perfect for my needs. It allows me to reach all areas of my yard without having to move the reel.10 pattern nozzle: The included 10 pattern nozzle is a great bonus. It gives me a variety of spray options for different watering needs. No leakage from spoutEasy to install: The reel was very easy to install. It came with all the necessary hardware and instructions.Cons:Plastic construction: The reel is made of plastic, which may not be as durable as metal. However, it seems to be well-made and sturdy.Overall, I'm very happy with the PolarcoForgeco Retractable Garden Hose Reel. It's a great value for the price and it makes watering my garden much easier. Works very well for the cost. Used a 4x4 to install. Painted a 4x4 mailbox pole black and cemented it into the ground. Doesn’t budge when using. Easy to walk out and super easy to pull back in. Makes watering bushes and flowers so much easier than dealing with a long hose.

This hose reel was exactly what we needed. It was long enough to reach to the back of our yard. The pulley works very well and it has held up all last summer and fall.

Very nice so far, works well and looks great, hose handle works well and looks great.

Being disabled, I have a hard time handling long hoses in the garden and yard. Hose reels make life much easier. I have 4 altogether, with 3 being another brand bought here on amazon, and this model. This hose reel is by far more durable than the other three. It is quite large and seems to be very well made in every regard. The included hose is much heavier than the other three I have used. It has tolerated being run over by my power wheelchair many times with no noticeable effect. The nozzle is superior as well. The lock mechanism works just as it should, latching in place with a single quick tug. I have accidentally let the hose wind itself up, which it does very quickly, but there was no damage to the opening of the reel housing. Overall, I am sticking with this brand and will gradually replace my others as they inevitably wear out. It is not cheap, but I must recommend it.--addition: I just ordered another and will mount it on a post I had set in concrete.

So as you know, the price is kind of pricey on this, but I took a long shot that it would last in the Florida weather. Installed it works great so far three months in and no problems. The hose nozzle that it comes with works really good as well. Let’s hope it holds up for the big price tag it cost.

Love everything about this water hose set. Very easy set up. The length of the hose is a bonus! I love not having to roll the hose up when done using it. Just give this hose a little tug and it retracts back into its storage compartment. I will definitely be purchasing another if anything were to happens to my current one.

The media could not be loaded. After hours of researching, we found this hose advertised as a “5/8 inner diameter, 90 foot garden hose,” when I opened it up and took it out I could see right away the hose was very thin and small. I measured the inner diameter of the hose and it is barely 1/2”, which is well below what they advertise. To give it the benefit of the doubt, I hooked it up and tested the flow rate, I measured exactly 4.5GPM from this garden hose that was attached, obstruction free, to our house hose bib that puts out 6.5GPM. Why is that important? It is important because we spent the extra money on a 5/8” garden hose for a higher flow rate, this hose puts out barely enough water for a slow garden bed watering. I then decided to pull the hose all the way out until the red limit sticker and measure how long this “90 foot hose” actually was…it measured 79 feet. 11 feet shy of what it advertises. You can not count the 6 foot hose bib hookup line because they specifically mention in the description that the hookup line is an additional 6 feet to the actual “90 foot” garden hose, so all together it should be 96 feet. There is only 79 feet of usable hose, with about a foot or so coiled up on the inside of the retractable wheel. Lastly, the hose itself seems very easy to kink and I would be worried about how well this unit holds up as it is nothing but plastic. Combine cheap plastic with the sun and fluctuating temperatures, I would not expect this to last very long. Try it for yourself, you will see what I mean.
