Nash is everything!
**Book Review: *The Enforcer* by Avery Keelan**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 🌶 4.5/5*The Enforcer* follows the story of Nash and Violet, two people who meet at a party, and from there, sparks fly. Nash is her first—first love, first in bed, first everything. However, life takes them in different directions, and they break up. Fast forward two years, and Violet finds herself as Nash’s trainer, and just like before, the chemistry between them is undeniable. As Nash wrestles with his past and his father’s words, he pushes through his inner battles to fight for the only girl he’s ever truly loved. The writing style in *The Enforcer* is well-done, with the perfect balance of angst and emotional pull. The story doesn’t feel rushed, allowing the reader to fully immerse themselves in Nash and Violet’s world. You can’t help but fall in love with both characters and their personal struggles as they navigate the path back to one another.

Lots of Angst and Sweetness
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/🌶️🌶️ I really thought this was going to be another fun and spicy read like her other college hockey romances, which it did, but it was also packed with lots of angst, drama, and second chances. Our sweet couple here, Nash and Violet, had a lot of growing up and maturing to do before they could earn their HEA. I loved seeing their progression evolve from self-deprecation and self-destruction to trust, love, and believing in themselves. That ending really nailed it, and despite all their setbacks, they were truly meant to be together. One thing that did surprise me was how passionate their chemistry was since the prologue, but the smut didn’t even start until after 60%. Nevertheless, it was worth it and mildly spicy. I highly recommend if you love hockey, second chance romances, angst, family drama, and solid character development. I wished we could see more stories like this from Nash’s other friends too.

enjoyable read
I saw an ad for this book and decided to check it out. Don't let the cutesy cover fool you. It hides a swoony, steamy romance. This is my first read by this author. I enjoyed the characters and their growth as individuals and as a couple. The plot was good and the secondary characters have me eager for their stories. I'm adding this series to my list to keep an eye out for next books since I'd like to read more in this world.

Very nice indeed!!!!
The book was really cozy and nice. The main characters fit together nicely and the story was okay. However, that little something extra was missing for the book to get 5 stars

College hockey romance
This time I kiss her like she might vanish at any moment. Like she’s the air I need to keep breathing. Because she is.•Book: The Enforcer (Lakeside University book 1)Author: Avery KeelanStars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Spice:🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️•When Vi asked for Nash’s help during a freshman year party, she didn’t realize how it would change her future. And after falling head over heels for one another, the heartbreak was catastrophic when they parted ways. Now, it’s senior year and for the first time since their breakup, they are forced to acknowledge those feelings they have been trying to bury. Violet has to decide if Nash is worth the risk again. And Nash has some issues of his own he needs to come to terms with before he can be the partner Vi deserves. But one thing is for sure, they aren’t going to let the second chance slip past.•How do I even describe how much I loved this book!? Nash and Vi’s story had me hooked from the beginning. The character development and tension was so well done throughout the story. I loved the heat the two of these had from chapter one all the way through. The spice was SPICING in this one!❤️🔥Violet was such a relatable character for me. She was honest about her needs and wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. The way she handled herself while navigating this rekindled love was something I really enjoyed. And our boy Nash! His brooding, touch her and die, quiet personality was so easy to fall in love with. And the more we get to know him, the more our hearts soften for him. The found family aspect of this book was also so touching! Nash and Vi are a top tier book couple and I truly didn’t want their story to ever end.❤️I sincerely hope we get another book in this series some day! Love to root for these characters!
Nash and Violet were perfect together - until they weren't. They were each other's firsts...including their first heartbreak. After their breakup, they avoid each other for years. But fate intervenes, and in Violet's senior year, she is assigned to the hockey team to complete her senior athletic training internship. Violet knows she has to keep away from Nash; to protect her heart and her internship, since there is a no-fraternization policy. But Violet finds that their chemistry is still there, and Nash has changed. What will they do when everything is on the line? What I liked: I love a second chance romance. You just WANT them to end up back together and to overcome everything that stood in their way before. Also, the forbidden element is even better. I love that they both made each other better people. The spice was spicy y'all, and I loved it.What I didn't like: I felt like there was a lot of attention on their physical relationship, but their emotional journey was just as important.Overall, cute couple, and a nice story!

Second Chance with a Broody Sexy Hero
The Enforcer is a second chance romance with all the feels. Nash and Violet had me sighing and swooning and sweating from their spicy chemistry! After an intense freshman year relationship that crashed and burned, these two stayed well out of each other’s way for their own sanity but theirs is not a love to be forgotten and time doesn’t heal all wounds.Violet can’t believe her luck or cursed existence when she’s assigned to work with Lakeside U’s beloved men’s hockey team for her internship. She purposely requested the basketball team for one specific reason, her ex-boyfriend Nash. It’s been almost 2 years of avoidance and now she has to be his trainer? It’s her worst nightmare. To Nash, it was a dream to even have the tiniest chance to get back the girl he lost. The one whose always had his heart and got away.As soon as these two were in each other’s orbits, it was like they never separated in some ways and the biggest elephant in the room in others. The pull between them was magnetic. I was completely hooked on these two from the prologue. Their attraction was immediate and I was crushed by the first chapter when I realized they were no longer together. The physical and emotional longing between them was palpable and created a slow burn that was addictive to read.Nash wasn’t usually a man of words but his actions spoke volumes of his affection, his desire and the depth of his concern for Violet’s well-being. He wasn’t going to let history repeat itself. It was especially satisfying for Violet as her heart never healed properly after Nash and to have him reach for her this time and finally, hopefully open up to her was everything.Avery has written an emotional love story with quality hockey action to match. I loved this start to the series and it’s a perfect summer vacation read!

Second chance
I do not like 2ndnchance trope in general but this book is really good. Violet internship is with the hockey team of her former boyfriend Nash. They reconnect and their story is quite perfect. Nash is a guarded guy beacuse of his nasty and abusive father. And it is what has broken their couple the first time.
