I'm giving 5 stars although I really cannot attest to the quality of this moss because I've never used any type of moss before.

I recently purchased sphagnum moss for my climbing ivy plants, and I must admit, I was initially skeptical due to its low price. However, upon receiving the package, I quickly realized I had underestimated its value.At first glance, the little block of moss didn't seem like much, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much it expanded after soaking. Even after packing my poles with it, I had a significant amount left over. I decided to let the rest dry off in the sun and stored it in ziplock bags for future use. I opted for the 5-quart size, priced at $6.99, and I couldn't be happier with the amount I received. Considering my moss poles were small to begin with, it's safe to say that this purchase exceeded my expectations in terms of both quantity and quality. Highly recommended for anyone in need of sphagnum moss!

I don't know if it makes a difference but it wasn't as green as in the pictures but it does the job.

Really makes my potted plants look so much better and the kids used it to decorate bird houses.

I wouldn't recommend this product because you don't even get enough for even 1 plant. I feel like it was a ridiculous purchase. Money wasted. I'll be buying my moss at other stores
