Amazing countertop RO system with Hot and room temp water!
WOW! This is a great countertop RO system. I researched various hot-cold under counter and on counter systems and decided to go with this model and glad I did. The unit doesn’t take that much space on your counter and looks streamlined and super modern. I couldn’t really find that much info on it besides the reviews here and a couple of YouTube videos but still decided to give it a shot. Setup is super easy and does take a full twenty minutes if you stand by the machine and follow its cues. I believe I had to fill the tank twice and the machine does the rest. I had bought a tds tester before this arrived and had verified my taps tds level which was also spot on from Waterdrops website zip code analyzer. My tds was showing 147 meanwhile the water from the Core Ro was coming out under 20 ppm! The water tastes crisp and pure! No weird smells or aftertaste. I do use a single stage Waterdrop under counter filter to fill my water although these type of filters do not change the tds levels. I am actually going to be removing the single stage and upgrading it to the a 3 stage filter system just for added precaution. This will also give me way better water at my fridge which will be connected to it. It might be habit but I still find myself reaching inside the fridge for water sometimes and of course ice cubes. This will help provide overall better water from both sources. The best part of this purchase was that it eliminated me having to use my Keurig maker for hot water which I hated doing due to the water sitting there and being warm in the tank all the time. So now I get clean pure filtered room temp water virtually all day long, and I also get hot water in the morning for tea and coffee. I usually refill the tank once a day. With that said I do wish the touch screen would tell you real time tds levels but it will only flash red when high tds levels have been detected which usually means it’s time for a new filter. A word of caution with this system. When the tank needs to be refilled the screen will blink “out” do not refill the tank without first dumping the remaining water left at the bottom. That is basically your waste water and the tds levels on that water was over 500 ppm. This is definitely not really apparent at first but then a light bulb went off in my head and I realized it after I refilled my first tank. Waterdrop also claims you can void your warranty by not dumping the remains water first before refilling the tank with new tap water. One minor drawback is having to slide the system forward a little bit to remove the tank and also remove the freshwater tank since I keep it under my upper kitchen cabinets. I placed a bamboo mat under it and not it easily slides forward so problem solved. I did see some will put small appliance sliders under the appliance to make it easier as well. I would highly recommend this countertop RO system for a small family or couple. I did buy a second water tank to keep in my fridge or counter for larger volume fills. In the end it was between the Core RO and the Waterdrop under counter RO system which was significantly more expensive. I think this is a good start and best of all the system can be moved and taken anywhere.

Great Product and Even Better Customer Service!
My family purchased the WaterDrop CoreRO system over a year ago and we love it. It's easy to use, durable, and the water tastes great. We used water test strips to compare the water before and after filtering, which helped give us confidence that the filter was doing its job. Additionally, I was SO impressed with their Customer Care Team! I reached out via email after repeatedly getting an E04 error, multiple times a day. Even though the warranty period had already expired, our customer care representative, Andrew, was able to identify the issue and provide clear instructions on how to clear scale buildup. He also sent a free replacement filter as well. After the issue was resolved, Andrew went above and beyond by sending an additional filter as a holiday gesture, since I had emailed just before Christmas. The system works perfectly now and I'm very grateful for the amazing customer service!

1 Year Review + Customer Service Review
This is a review after 6 months of daily usage. I did a lot of research before making a decision on which RO system to purchase, as I am very serious about my health. This product is superior to all other countertop RO systems on the market, as it allows you to clean and maintain all the individual reservoirs, including the reservoir where the RO water is stored after filtration, which is something that is very important and no other competitors products in this price range allow you the ability to do. Unfortunately, the handle on the feed water tank broke at one of it's hinges, making the system unusable. I contacted customer support via email, as this product comes with a one year warranty from the date of purchase. Robbie Li from customer support responded to my inquiry at lightning speed. I emailed late at night at around 1am and he responded by 3am. He kept me updated regularly throughout the entire process and got the part shipped to me within 3 days of it shipping via expedited shipping. I am very impressed by their excellent customer service and highly recommend both this product and this company. 1 FULL YEAR UPDATE: This an updated full year review of this product. After about 8 to 9 months into usage, the system started experiencing issues with overfilling. Karina in customer service was very helpful in walking me through a descaling process to try to solve the issue, but unfortunately, to no success. After attempting to fix it and failing, she was quick to send me out a brand new system, at no extra cost to me whatsoever. The product itself is still fantastic and in my opinion, still one of the best you can get on the market that is within this price range, but the customer service is even better than the product itself. I do hope that they can improve upon their design so that future models do not have this overfilling issue later on in it's lifespan, but it is still a great product! Thanks again Karina for all of the help! ANOTHER UPDATE: After about a month of daily usage with my replacement machine, it unfortunately started showing issues with it spitting water into two streams instead of one out of the dispenser while dispensing water. I contacted Karina in customer service once again about this issue, and she was very kind in sending me yet another brand new system. This system seems to be working fine, and there are no issues with it so far. I think I was just unlucky in getting a defective machine for the replacement the first time around. But I would like to thank Karina once again in helping to quickly resolve my issue and helping me to stay a satisfied customer once again!

Instant Hot and Cold Water—Very Convenient
I really like how this filter makes my life easier with its instant hot and cold water feature. The water tastes clean, and the unit looks chic on the table, adding a modern touch to my kitchen. After about six months of use, my machine began leaking unexpectedly, but the overall design and functionality have still been impressive. The replacement unit I received has been working well so far. When I contacted customer service, I was lucky to be helped by Becky. She was incredibly patient and guided me through several troubleshooting steps to try to fix the issue. Even after a few attempts, when the problem persisted, Becky quickly arranged for a replacement machine to be shipped to me. Her professionalism, kindness, and dedication made the whole experience much easier. Thank you, Becky, for your excellent customer service!

Be ware of defective unit
First of all, I'm not someone who can't be pleased and cling to negative experiences or product reviews. For the majority of time I'm happy about my Amazon purchases, but lately have been really let down. This product came to my attention because of family member and friend's recommendation about water filer to ensure drinking water safety, as they know my son went through harsh medical treatment last year. I thought I bought it directly from the company who made WaterDrop products but frankly I'm not sure now. The setup is simple, but after numerous tries it just won't finish the flushing process. It stays on 50% forever and when I contacted tech support, they gave out one piece of solution every time, about 24 hours after my email, probably because they're overseas and there's a time difference. I told them this is a defect unit and asked for replacement but they just kept asking me to try fixing this and that. It shouldn't take this much efforts to get a countertop filer to work, it's not a complex piece of machine, and yet it's been sitting here for a week now. Besides this, I also received a glass jar that's broken during transit, a package of spice jars sent to the wrong address, all happened in two months of time, wake up Amazon! This is not the way business was done here before! Furious! Updates about this unit on 2/29: the company sent me a new unit which arrived on 27th, plugged in and it did the same thing: flushing to 50% then just stayed there. Someone called to videotaped the unit and status, offered to call me back later yesterday but never did. I emailed the company again today to complaint. As of now two defective units have taken up my counter space, I have carton boxes all over the floor because they expected me to ship them back if not working. Instead of being a solution to my drinking water quality they have created endless extra work for me! Updates about this purchase on 3/19: about two weeks ago I returned the first unit to Amazon and received the refund. The seller issued me a gift card to make up for my negative experience. They also provided me with free return labels to ship back the replacement unit. I informed them I will update my review to list the facts, but will not change the stars because I believe a product is supposed to be working in the first place to earn good reviews, and the seller is in agreement to that. I do hope that they will fix their production or technical issues to this won't happen to other customers. I am still in the market looking for a high quality countertop water filter to replace the pitcher I have used for many years.

Waterdrop units are awesome and their customer service is the absolute best.
This was a very nice, economical RO unit and it allowed us to try RO water and see if our household enjoyed it. We started using it for everything including refilling our countertop nugget ice maker so we weren't spending so much on distilled water. After about a year, the unit was still filtering perfectly but we noticed the measured water dispensing became a bit less accurate. I reached out to WaterDrop and chatted with Andrew who immediately offered to replace the unit with another one. He cross-shipped the new unit so we could keep using our old one until it arrived. I can't say enough good things about Andrew and WaterDrop as they took awesome care of us to make sure we have a working, reliable unit. What company cross-ships a brand new product without even asking for a Credit Card. I highly recommend WaterDrop and wish every company had an Andrew to help customers!

Great product, even better customer service
Unfortunately the first machine delivered to me was defective and wouldn’t work. I contacted customer support regarding the issues and to my relief Becky took such great care of me as a customer. She promptly responded to my concerns and shipped out a new machine. She followed up to ensure the new filter worked appropriately, she sent me an ups return label and walked me through everything step by step. I was initially weary of my decision but after receiving such excellent customer service I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this product again and I would recommend to others. The new filter works flawlessly and quickly. It’s so easy to use. Fits well with limited counter space, produces clean and great tasting water.

Best of the best customer service and there product is fantastic
Received the waterdrop RO in a very timely manner. Instructions very easy to follow to set the filter up for first use. The water quality is fantastic. My wife loves how easy it is to use. The functionality is very nice. Once you fill the tank with the unfiltered water it does not take long for the RO to fill the container with the good RO water. So filters pretty fast and it does the automatically. We chose this counter top for the value and the size would fit under our cabinet. Plus we want the grate taste of alkalinity water. Unfortunately this product was not ship with the alkalinity filter. I contacted Waterdrop through email. I ask them if this filter was the correct filter. The Waterdrop representative from the customer service, told me that this was not the alkalinity filter that should had shipped with the product. The customer service supper nice and waterdrop has already sent me a new correct filter. What an awesome company. This is a fantastic company and a great countertop RO system. 12/30/2025 update About 6 months my water tank started to leak when filling the tank. I emailed WaterDrop my problem with the tank. They gave me instructions how to make sure I was cleaning the tank Correctly. This did not fix the leak. I email back WaterDrop said they could send me a new filter machine to replace the one I have. I said I believe it is just the tank. They sent me a tank to see if that was it but also willing to send me a complete replacement if it was not the problem. It did turn out to be the tank. But through this whole process WaterDrope was so good. This is why in my opinion there the best in customer service. This company will go far and beyond what other companies will to make sure your 100% satisfied.
