I use canvas boards for all kinds of things, the least of which is to make an actual painting. But they are irreplaceable for practice, color testing and sampling, color boards, and mixing color. These are very sturdy and the Gesso treatment seems to cover well making my paints adhere well. These are fairly priced in my opinion and heavily constructed. Just what I wanted for practice and also my new thing; paint pouting. They also take resin well.

This set of fifty-two pre-gesso 8X10-inch canvas boards is an excellent value. All fifty-two boards were wrapped in cellophane inside a cardboard box. The corners were not dented or crushed. The primed canvases are covered with gesso, which is enough for most paintings, but you can add another layer of gesso. These canvases are the perfect size for practice paintings of various techniques or subjects. They are a good investment for someone just starting painting, with over 50 canvases to keep you occupied for several weeks or months, depending on how often you paint. I used heavy-body student acrylic paint on a practice canvas. The paint applied smoothly and blended well, and I used a variety of brushes without issues. I have successfully used this brand before. I am fond of this manufacturer as they have economical, quality products. This set of canvases comes highly recommended.

Well made with neat corners.The gessoed board board has a tight weave.It looks good under my paintingI like the 8x10 size for small projects and for children's artwork.These are great boards.

These canvas packs of 8 by 10 canvas panels are great. I plan to use with my elementary students to create race car art.The boards are sturdy and kids LOVE painting on canvas! It's exciting for them versus just paper. If you haven't used these before they are canvas quality on the board but hard backing. There isn't a way to easily hang them on the wall so most people just set it against a wall for display rather than hanging. Love them!The quality of the material is very good. They are smooth and not damaged at all. I love that there are so many in this pack! Great buy!

I got these for my daughter to paint on, and they work very well for her artwork. They are easy to paint on and don't smear.I think the canvas boards are pretty inexpensive when you consider that these come in a pack of 50.

These canvas boards are great! First off, they feel nicely made and not cheap or flimsy. They do include a lot in this pack for the price. I've used a few of them so far and they've worked great with my acrylic paints. All things considered, these canvas boards work as they should and won't break the bank - a lot more cost effective than some of the big craft box stores, if you ask me!
