My son is five, and for as long as I can remember, he's gotten up at the crack of dawn or sooner. It doesn't matter what time he goes to bed. Now, if he woke up and then played quietly in his bedroom, that wouldn't necessarily be that big a deal, but he likes to open my bedroom door to see what's going on, bother his sister who's still trying to sleep for a few more hours, talk to himself, turn on the TV, open the door to the patio while the burglar alarm is still on, etc, etc.So when my wife and I saw this clock, we knew we had to have it. The pros: a well lit and clear clock face that displays the time, as well as an expressive face that displays a smile when it's time for my son to wake up. (You can, obviously, set what time you want this to happen.) It can also function as an actual alarm clock if you want.The cons: I honestly haven't found any yet. I have nothing at all bad to say.If you're debating whether to get a product like this one, just do it. The investment is absolutely worth the reward, the peace of mind, and the extra sleep you'll get!

Ordered this for a younger kid (age 6) and ended up giving it to our 14 year old. The clock is great! The volume is controllable, so it can be as loud as you'd reasonably want, but also quiet enough that the whole house isn't frustrated while it goes off. The directions made setup a breeze and they were clearer/easier to follow than several other alarm clocks I've tried. Tons of functionality in this little thing, and it's quite cute.The reason we gave it to our older kid: There are a lot of buttons on the side (shown in one of the main product images). On one hand, that's great because you can actually press a button to set the thing up and there's no guessing. For a younger kid, it turns into BUTTON TIME. I.e., lets press them all, and completely undo any setting previously adjusted.All in all, this clock deserves five stars. I thought about giving it four stars because it's so tempting for little kids to play with...but ultimately decided the clock gets five stars and my (younger) kids get 3-4 stars.

My main praise for this clock is its price. Considering most general clock radios are at or above this, makes this a pretty good value. I ordered it for the younger children in my home. I am a foster parent and often have children, even older ones, that have pretty bad sleep habits, not to mention being terrified of the dark. This has been a fantastic addition. It is also very durable and has been pushed off the bookcase a few times, all without incident.Buttons are all easy to read and get to, the variability of the colors and intensity of the light is also a big plus. I have also found it to be a great training tool for bed time, the alarm takes the emotionalism out of bedtime and makes it more of an objective deadline, and believe me, this can be helpful.Overall the quality and construction are really good and again, for the price, I am really happy. I highly recommend.

My toddler would not lay down without me there for naps or bedtime, I was hoping this clock would help. She immediately loved her “kitty clock”! She talks about it randomly throughout the day. She’s only 2 so we are still working on understanding the lights and what each color means. She does already know her colors and that helps a lot when introducing the clock. The first morning the alarm went off and woke us all up, so we had to fix that feature.The buttons are easy to push and navigate. Having them on the sides instead of the bottom does encourage kids to mess with them though. It does a child lock to deter but make sure not to mess with it in front of your kid or they may learn to undo it on their own. The setup was slightly confusing but if you follow the directions it’s not terrible.The lights aren’t overly bright. But still brighter than we’d like in a dark room, even on the dimmest setting. I don’t like that it auto brightens at 6 am. We are not early risers and I can’t figure out if it’s an option to turn off.I also don’t like that the nap feature maxes out at 1 hr. My toddler needs a 2 hr nap. Especially if it takes her a little to fall asleep. And while learning to use the light to help with naps instead of me laying down with her, it can take awhile and so by the time she falls asleep, it’s saying it’s ok to wake up and then the light disappears. I would love a 90 or 120 minute option.Overall we like the clock. My toddler loves it. She keeps unplugging it and carrying it around the house. It does not stay on if unplugged, but it does remember your settings. Which is great for us. She had it unplugged over 24 hours and I plugged it in and it had the right time and info on it.

This clock is great! And already loved by the 5 and 7 year old. We are in love with the multiple colors and the simple design. Love that you can plug this in and that you don't have to worry about re-charging. We had a difficult time finding a cute clock that wasn't rechargeable. This one fits all the criteria of what we were looking for. The only downsides we found is that the first morning, we couldn't figure out how to shut the alarm off. lol. And secondly, the cute blinking eyes can be kind of "creepy" in the dark. Ha ha The price point is just ok in my opinion. There are alot of fun features in this clock but alarm clocks in general are typically less money than this one.

The plug does not stay in the clock at all. It pops right out and therefore does not turn on nor charge at all and is useless. Super bummer as my son was sooooo excited for this.

This is a perfect clock to get for kids. It's well made and will hold up over time. You don't need batteries, it comes with a USB plug. It's easy to use and a fun way for kids to learn/tell time. I like that you can set an alarm for bedtime and one for when it's time to wake up. It helps my children, who both have autism, to know when it's time to transition and get ready for bed.

NIce product for a small child's bedroom; learning about time in friendly way :)

The media could not be loaded.  I have purchase 2 of these now, really nice for kids...I really love this small little device....its great for kids room.The size is great with big numbers and has all the features that matter. I like that the backup battery is a standard battery and not those little watch ones. The blue colour is nice and can be dimmed anywhere between off to full bright. Too many other clocks have annoying blinking dots. Setting the time is easy and the multiple alarm sounds are a decent selection.Simple time and alarm, not complicated with nonsense features. Really like the infinite brightness control.It is also nice to have the possibility to change the alarm😊The thing i love most about it ....its so easy to assemble and easy to setup and it works great👍🏻My kids easily see the numbers and they are now able to read numbers and understand time....this watch really helps my kid to understand time.Highly recommended for kids ....if you have kids and they are school going this device is for them ....for sure😊

The I-Code alarm is adorable and has nice colors giving off a soft glow that is not blinding or distracting. The sound of the alarm is equally soft and pleasant. Even my 12yr old son likes it and wants one for his “gaming setup”.The way that it uses the face change for the sleep trainer is really interesting, and something I had not seen before this clock.

The media could not be loaded.  I was looking for a clock to be in a child's room and I came across this cute clock that helps a child know when they should be sleeping or when they can wake up.The clock arrived well-packaged in a giftable box. It comes with the clock, an AC adapter, and the instruction manual. There is no battery in the clock so it must be plugged in to work.The functions are controlled with the buttons on the sides of the clock.You can set the time easily with the buttons. You can also adjust the color of the LED lights in the ears and surrounding the clock.There is a background light that lights up the face which can be an awake face or an asleep face.You can set a nap timer as well as a wake-up and sleep time. When the wake-up alarm comes on the clock glows green and the face on the clock shows an awake face. If you set the sleep alarm then the clock turns red and the face shows an asleep face when the alarm goes off. You can control the volume of the alarm sound and even have it not play any sound at all, just lights.You can also select 1 of 4 alarm sounds.One issue I had is that when the sleep alarm went off the face showed the asleep face but it did not have a backlight so you could barely see the asleep face. I am not sure if this is what it is supposed to do but I could not adjust it so the sleep face came on brighter.You can put on a night light as well and adjust it to solid colors or a mixture of several colors. You can also set it to white if you want.I did find the instructions to be a little confusing but once you play around with it for a while it is simple to use.One thing I did not like is that when the sleep alarm went off I could not find an easy way to turn the sound off. I think this would be better to select no sound when the sleep alarm goes because it would be impossible to sleep during the 3 minutes the alarm is going off.I think this clock is very cute and it functions great as a night light, a wake-up alarm, and a night light. The sleep alarm is something I don't think I would use.I do recommend this to anyone looking for a very cute clock that is very appealing to young kids.I have attached a video showing how the clock functions and shows how when the sleep alarm goes off you can not see the sleeping face.

Does everything expected and then some, it looks better than I expected and the soft night lighting is a great touch. The clock is easy to read and the face is cute, huge plus that my kids love cats so it's been a fight over who gets the clock in their room.For the price I think it is a decent buy if you are looking for a clock for the kids room.
