cute book for response
I used in my classroom and realized it was a great book for response in younger grades. With its repetitive statement about ice cream, it kept the students engaged.

Cute!
As a toddler teacher, my center lacks books that pertain to seasons. This was the perfect book to remedy that. Such a cute read.

Fun!
I bought this book for my almost 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. When I received it I thought it that we might have to save it for when she's a little older, but she loves it and anticipates and recites some of the lines.

Good
Good book. Nothing particularly special and no plot. It does have nice seasonal depictions. But I think at the end of the day, its always warm enough for ice cream.

Bright and Fun Children's Board Book
Is it Warm Enough for Ice Cream? is a bright and colorful children’s picture book. The age on the listing is 2-5 years, I actually think this could be an early learner book the images are bright and a child as your as 1 would love and be able to relate to the images in the pictures, giving them lots of first and fun words to learn. The board book has all the seasons in vibrant outdoor scenes representing the seasonal changes. The images on the pages quickly draw your attention to the pages. I enjoyed how the book gave suggestions for the season and weather, like searching for worms or flying a kite. Waiting for the summer to have an ice cream.Very cute book 18 pages in total its available as a Board Book and on Kindle

Charming intro to the seasons
A lovely board book suitable for toddlers, up to about 4 years, on the theme of the seasons. Well-conceived and executed, this is a charming introduction to the features of each of the four seasons. The illustrations are sweet, as is the recurring refrain “Is it warm enough for ice cream?”.

Great to start learning about the seasons
This is a sturdy board book that introduces toddlers to the seasons and their associations. The question throughout is whether it's warm enough yet for ice cream. My nephew loves it. There are pictures of tractors, birds, flowers, the sea, butterflies, leaves, and eventually, ice cream! It's colourful and helps with vocabulary, as well as learning about the seasons. One for toddlers around 2 years old, up to around 4 or 5.

Charming book for toddlers
This is a charming (not so little) board book for toddlers - taking them through the kind of weather to expect during the four seasons of the year and illustrating a range of activities that take place according to the weather. Illustrations are a mixture of photographs (up to the usual DK standard) and simplified drawings - all done very well, with simple accompanying text for an adult and a child to share together. Great stuff.

Colourful, sturdy board book
My great-granddaughter will be two in the summer - just the right time to eat ice cream according to this bright, colourful board book by Dorling Kindersley. She loves to be read to and happily points to the pictures and tries to say what she sees. There are sixteen pages of pictures, some of them cartoons, some photo-realistic, all with captions to explain what happens in each season. The book starts with autumn, so that it can end the journey through the seasons at summer when it is at last 'warm enough for ice cream'. This is a fun book designed to encourage pre schoolers to love reading and books.
