Protects new iPhone SE well, but finish deterirates quickly.
Pros:It is probably the best slimline leather-look case out there. It adds very little in terms of bulk to the phone. It is more secure, and better designed than the Futlex and Icarer equivalents. No flap or press studs to keep the case closed. No microfibre lining. (They go rancid quickly if you have dirty or oily fingers.)Cons:I'm not convinced it is actually leather. The finish is not at all durable, and does deteriorate very quickly at the corners and edges. After having it in the large pocket of some cargo shorts - without anything else in there - for just one day after receiving it, I found that the colour had rubbed off some of the corners of the front flip. Other corners of the case were starting to show similar wear. The finish on my previous Jison case (for the 2016 iPhone SE) was much more durable and took years rather than days to look this worn. Leather tends to look better with wear, and acquire character. This case just starts to look tatty however. The 'leather' has been finished with a layer of uniform brown polymer paint or laminate, rather than dye or polish. This means that you can't actually see the surface of the leather itself, and it cant develop the deeper colours and character that real leather does over time. As the paint wears off it reveals a lighter material underneath which doesn't look attractive. The Futlex and Icarer equivalents use real leather which acquires positive character over time and the finish ion them is much more durable and attractive. It can also be restored with oil, wax, or polish unlike this Jison case. This is my second case. Why a I buying another if I am so dissatisfied with the finish? Size, weight, protection, and appearance (at least for a few days). Oh, and no press stud or flappy bit to keep the flip closed. I upgraded my 2016 iPhone SE to the 2020 version - new phone size requires new case. It wanted something that added as little bulk as possible as the new iPhone SE is substantially bigger and heavier than the original - even though it is currently Apple's smallest phone. I also wanted a flip front to protect the screen when not in use as I am not a fan of screen protectors, and a solid shell offers more protection. The flip front also has the advantage of folding perfectly round the back of the phone and staying there due to the magnets, so it is out of the way and doesn't try to spring back or get in the way while the phone is in use. This case also covers a fair amount of the phone's edges, while still allowing you to use the power and volume buttons with the case closed. I just wish they did it in a darker brown, and with a more durable - or natural finish.

I love my iPhone case
I love my case! I don't often write many product reviews, however what I particularly like about this iPhone 7 case (although the iPhone 7 has a bigger megapixels camera and a more sophisticated camera flash and hence the opening at the back of this iPhone 7 case is bigger - I don't mind this), are that1) the front and inside of the case feel smooth and premium quality2) the magnetic clasp inside the case feels very solid and the case has not opened up when I've dropped my phone by accident, thus protecting my iPhone 6s3) the case seems to hold the phone fairly securely in place once you've clicked and pressed it into the enclosure ( I won't recommend taking the phone in and out of its case on a regular basis, as the phone is held tightly in place by the phone case holder - you might end up damaging the case holder, as taking the phone out involves bending the lower ends of the case backwards gently to release the phone!)4) It's a bit thicker than the Jisoncase for the iPhone 6/6s, which for me is a bonus as I feel it protects my phone more securely5)The phone case folds very easily back on itself and stays there on account of the magnetic clasp. Alternatively, you could have the phone landscape-wise and the phone case makes a nice tent-like shape that holds the phone steady on a flat surface - Nice for watching music videos, films, TV Series, Sports Events etc6) The case has a convenient easy-push metal button on the power button side that allows you to turn the phone on or off or put the phone into standby. I think it's a nice touch and gives the case a nice premium touch.Bear in mind that this phone has NO slots for putting cards or cash in; and also that by virtue of having a case with a flap that protects the front of your iPhone, you won't have access to the volume or mute button when the flap is closed ( answerering someone's comment that they could not access the volume buttons when the flap was closed). Finally, I've had iPhone cases in the past that only partly covers the phone to allow for you to put your phone horizontally (landscape-wise) or vertically (Portrait-wise).The downside of those type of cases I've used in the past with magnetic clasps is that when I drop the phone, the phone case splatters open with my phone landing bang face down on the floor. I think the iPhone 7 Jisoncase makes a nice compromise.Hope you've enjoyed reading my review. Please click the "Yes" or "Helpful" Button if you've found my review helpful. Thanks for reading.

Nowhere near the usual quality from Jisoncase - But excellent customer service
Having used Jisoncase for several years to protect my Apple Products they were my 1st choice for a case for my iPhone 8Plus. I ordered a genuine leather brown case. The case that arrived was almost orange in colour, but given my experience of Jisoncase I decided top keep it.I wish in all honesty I had returned it. After just 6 weeks of use the case is already showing disturbing signs of wear. The edges of the case have worn very badly and the edges on all 4 sides (top and bottom) now look a dirty brown as the finish has already worn smooth as against the fine grain of the rest of the case. All in all this case was not what I expected at all from Jisoncase. All that said though, recent emails to discuss the matter and offer of a free replacement has totally restored my faith in Jisoncase as a brand. It is good to see that companies such as Jisoncase still respect their customers. Thank you.

Not as durable as previous Jisoncase
I bought this case for an iPhone 7 Plus on the basis that the previous Jisoncase I had for the iPhone 5S was possibly the best case I've had. In particular the iPhone 5s case survived years of use with almost no visible signs of wear on the outside, although beginning to get a little ragged inside. Sadly the iPhone 7 Plus case after less than a year is showing bad signs of wear on the outside, and splitting in one corner. It's still as good as new on the inside though. All in all it's a decent case but I'm not sure it will last, and it's a disappointing reduction in quality from the earlier model.
