It works! Adjustable to any level and sturdy.
This desk adjuster is fantastic. Sturdy enough to handle a 27-inch Mac desktop, an external hard drive, a cup for pens, etc. without feeling wobbly or like it might tip over. I was worried it would be too bulky when down or not tall enough when up, but I was wrong. When all the way down, it boosts the computer maybe 2-3 inches higher than just on the desk. When all the way up, it’s even too tall for me (I’m a shortie at 5’3”).I love that you can adjust it to any height, so I can crank it all the way up to stand, I can go mid height and raise my chair up, I can drop it all the way down, etc. It also works well for my tall (6’2”) partner. Now the not perfect: sometimes when I raise it just a few inches, the hydraulics seem to get weird and if I lean on it to type, it will slowly sink down. I have double checked the handle is clicked in. Sometimes if I set it there and pull the desk up to “check” it without using the handle, that seems to lock it in. But not always. Usually I just try again until I find a spot where it won’t sink.As others have noted, it can be a little difficult to get started moving. I think it has to, otherwise it would be flying all over the place. I’ve found making sure the handle is fully open and the applying steady pressure with both hands to lift works, it just takes a second for it to respond. Dropping it down is easy, using its own weight. For size, I have a small 43-inch by 20-inch glass desktop and this fits well. It’s one of the only things on the desk now, though, so know that it will take a little extra space outside of its dimensions. I worried that glass was not going to hold it, but it’s a rather thick desk top and so far so good. The adjuster is heavy, but everything but the top is metal. It keeps it from sliding around, which has been helpful. The rubber/foam pads have worked to keep it in place.Bottom line: I wondered if this would function overall, hold up over time and when set at different heights, be sturdy and safe for an expensive computer, be both tall and short enough when need be, etc. And it has proven to be so. I’ve been using for almost 2 months 10-14 hours a day, with multiple changes throughout each day and it still performs. It’s the best $90 I’ve spent in a long time.

Excellent value and a great product
I’ve been looking for a standing desk adapter since I started working from home. This has been nearly perfect for me.Benefits:- Hydraulic lifting system is quite easy to use. Takes a little oomph but it’s very simple and not challenging.- The product feels sturdy and high quality. I like the espresso top and was surprised at how nice it looks.- The surface area was perfect for my 13” laptop and 20” monitor with some space for a mouse and even a notepad. I wouldn’t want one much larger than this. It’s perfect for my needs.- This desk was about 30% cheaper than other ones I was looking at but doesn’t feel like a cheap option at all.- It’s adjustable to all heights within its range and very easy to tweak up or down an inch. Note: I’m 5’5” so I can’t speak to how well it serves taller folks at it’s full extension.Drawbacks:-The desk is still quite tall when fully collapsed. It may not be comfortable for you to work on it like that, depending on your table/desk height and chair height. I’m able to manage but it’s not ideal.- It’s quite heavy. It would not be easy to stow away somewhere.Overall I’m thrilled by this product and it has made a huge difference for me in terms of comfort. I’d recommend it.

Makes working at my dining table bearable
I set up a work space at my dining table during COVID and it was fine for a few weeks. But when i realized working from home would be longer term, I knew I needed a better solution. Found this workstation and it's perfect! It comes assembled, adjusts between sitting and standing easily, and is large enough to hold my laptop and essentials with enough room to keep papers/notebooks/etc for note taking. The only negative I can point out is that it is a little stiff to adjust. I could probably oil it and it would be fine. But I adjust from sitting to standing multiple times per day and it's not really that much of a hassle. And for the price, i'm not complaining.

Solid product - met my need
I ordered this desk-top standing desk to alleviate back problems. Setting the table up was very easy and I experienced no problems raising or lowering it, despite being short and not particularly strong. The table is stable and solid, and the wood veneer is handsome. Cleans easily. It's exactly what I wanted, and I am very satisfied with it.

Perfect for Teachers Who Want To Stand
I am an elementary school teacher who is teaching in a hybrid model (teaching 8-10 kids in the classroom while simultaneously teaching the other 20 kids virtually at home). I need to stand to teach in order to be able to see all my students and the classroom whiteboard at the same time. This was definitely a pricey item, but I do think it is worth it. I love that the platform moves up and down so I can lower it when I want to sit at my desk during planning. This item feels very well made and I definitely think it will last me for a long time.

Good Value, but tough to Pull Up
Overall I like it , using since summer 2020, strong & sturdy. Only drawback was that its really tough to pull Up !!Was hoping it would get easier with time , but still just as tough, for some that maybe a good thing. Would recommend.

Best standing desk... For those of us with a small budget.
This is such a great stand up desk for the price... Now, if I had a bigger budget then I would have expected more but for the price this is as good as it gets. The only problem I really have with it is that it is REALLY difficult to raise and lower... Not NEARLY as difficult as stacks of books (which was what I used to make my FIRST DIY standing desk) but you really have to pull this thing up hard and try not to pull it off the desk it is on. As long as your careful and gentle with this desk I feel it will last until I get a raise or promotion and can afford a more expensive standing desk. My one complaint isn't enough to take a full star away, but I give this 4.5stars. BRILLIANT!!!
