A great kit to get you started. If you are an absolute beginner the kit comes with a QR code that brings you to their YouTube tutorials. This is the first time I’ve done this and I found it easy enough and fun.

My 16 year old just started crocheting with these kinds of kits and these cute corns are next on the list! This comes in a very nice, gift-ready kit with cute packaging, everything you need inside, and two nicely done booklets with color photo instructions as well as QR codes to bring up video instructions. This pattern includes a variety of stitches so maybe not the best FIRST project and maybe not for younger kids (unless they have a lot of patience). I am thinking of getting another set for my teenage nieces for Christmas.

This is no where near a beginner level.

I've started so many crochet projects and never finished them, but this kit makes it so easy to follow thru and complete your piece. Video and pattern were great, but also having everything from practice yarn, scissors and extra stitch markers made it so convenient.

Had fun cute pattern

This is a well assembled kit, comes with everything you need and packaged really nicely. It comes with detailed written instructions, as well as links to video format tutorials if you need them. The yarn feels nice and everything inside was good quality. Probably a better fit for someone who has some experience with crochet, it's still rather intimidating for complete beginners.
