Class Dismissed is a wickedly fun story, perfect for readers of Gordon Korman, Jeff Kinney, and Barbara Robinson! Class 507 is the worst class Ms. Bryce has ever taught. And she would know -- she's been teaching forever. They are so terrible that when a science experiment goes disastrously wrong (again), Ms. Bryce has had it and quits in the middle of the lesson. But through a mix-up, the school office never finds out. Which means ... Class 507 is teacher-free! The class figures if they don't tell anyone, it'll be one big holiday. Kyle and his friends can play games all day. Samantha decides she'll read magazines and give everyone (much needed) fashion advice. Adam can doodle everywhere without getting in trouble. Eric will be able to write stories with no one bothering him. And Maggie ... well, as the smartest kid in the class she has an ambitious plan for this epic opportunity. But can Class 507 keep the principal, the rest of the students, and their parents from finding out ... or will the greatest school year ever turn into the worst disaster in school history? Review: I. LOVE. THIS. BOOK! - I purchased a set of these for a small reading group. The students cannot put them down! They come to the group excited to read and actively discuss the book. They are disappointed when our time is over and often try to get in "just one more page" before closing it. And I love the book because I've had "those classes" that push to the limit. And they think it would be so much better without teachers telling them what to do...the students in the book find out! And it isn't all that they had hoped. This is a well-written engaging story filled with excitement, drama, and even a little romance! Review: it is amusing towatch them (read about them) as they try to pick ... - Some students wish their teacher would just walk out... but, really, what would they do? Class Dismissed offers a hilarious take on the adventures of students when their teacher gives up her job and simply walks out. While I don't condone their actions, at first, it is amusing to watch them (read about them) as they try to pick up the pieces when they are left without any choice other than taking responsibility for their actions. Students love it and connections are abundant!

So funny and touching at the same time
Great story, very original. You are really rooting for all the characters the whole time. The author really develops each character so well.

Good quality for a great price!
I bought a used hardcover copy for a fraction of the price of a new one and it's in great condition! Can't wait to read this book with my 4th grade students for a summer book club!

Great quality book with laughs and approx 5hrs reading time
This is such a great novel for children and grades 4 to 5. It has an AR level of 4.4 and gives 8 AR points or anyone using accelerated reader at their school and keeping track of reading. My son is nine years old and in grade 4 and this book kept his attention, gave him a few good chuckles and counts for over 55,000 words read. This book took my son approximately 4 1/2 to 5 hours to read which is great reading value for book of this price size and quality read. It also has a few good lessons among the chuckles it gave him. I would recommend this to any boy or girl in grades 4 to 5 and maybe even a bit beyond For a grade 2 -3 reader on an accelerated reading path. My son added a few new words to his vocabulary which was also nice and great to find in a new read at his AR level.

Poor product quality
Book came in covered in some sort of sticky glue all over the pages. Very disappointing. Not worth the hassle to return it for me and thereโs no option for a refund.
