When this item arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It is also refillable which I had not noticed when purchasing it. I was doing a memorial for my husband and wanted each person to write something in a book I could keep and this was perfect. The paper is excellent. Because it is refillable I am able to send blank pages back to Canada to the friend who were unable to attend. I would highly recommend this item.

Altho there didn't seem to have very many pages it was a nice gift for the beginning journalism.

Very cute journal. The pages are thick enough that I can write with my Cricut and it does not bleed through. I wish this was offered in a slightly larger size.

I really like the way it feels in my hand. Nice and soft vegan leather. LOVE the refillable pages. Fits perfectly in my purse. The slots work well for a pen and it still closes nicely. I will likely change the paper to white as I like to sketch when I have a few minutes.

I bought this as a gift, as it looked like a nice journal on the site. It was delivered quickly but was really disappointing- nice bright red colour and embossing on the faux “leather” cover, but overall cheap quality, especially the paper of the pages inside. It’s like low grade brown packaging paper! I can’t give it as a gift. Too much trouble to return. Wasted $17.

I am in love with this: the vintage look, the color of the brown leather, not too light or too dark (obviously my tastes), the fact that you can wrap around with the cord (which as a nautical charm) and there is also a mark page with a charm inside! There is a binder inside and it looks like it's rechargeable with new paper once you are done (if you can find this size). It is small, but that's what I wanted.

While not real leather it is a nice book. The wrapping cords are a good weight as is the metal disk the writing paper has a thicker than average weight, but only just thicker. Is a nice, affordable gift for travellers. If I had it to go again I’d actually rather a larger size, my error.
