We all know about blade length etc, but possession of a locking-blade knife is a criminal offence in the UK, no matter where you use or keep it. Mine was found in my camping gear by a customs officer at the Southampton port and fortunately he gave me the option to surrender it. He was very clear that the option to report me to the police for carrying an offensive and banned weapon was a possibility. Amazon should not be permitting the sale of these knives. It's a pity because this was a decent knife for the price.
