This primer does the job at making the pores look smaller and the skin to look better before makeup, however, I found it hard to apply. This primer did not melt on my skin, it just kept crumbling in smaller pieces and I had to keep rubbing more in an attempt to make it disappear, little pieces even fell on my clothes.

Product as described

I used the previous version, Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfector, for YEARS and it was far superior than this awful stuff. Don’t waste your money on this version. Why would Clinique turn out this mess?

If this wasn't made by Clinique, it would merit 4 stars, but I expect more from them. They used to have a more liquid formula in a smaller green tube that was amazing. This is a thicker gel that doesn't go on as nice. If you don't work it in quickly, it balls up and rolls off your skin. This doesn't seem to keep my nose shine free more than a few hours.On the plus side, there's a generous amount of product in the tube. It should last quite a long time. Foundation goes over it easily, and it doesn't make my skin break out. It leaves your skin feeling very smooth and clean after application - no oiliness or heavy feeling at all. Also, a little goes a long way, so don't use the huge amount shown in the listing! Or if you want to apply it all over your face, apply a little bit at a time. When I dabbed a little on my forehead and nose, by the time I went back to the second area it was too "dry" to spread it out.
