What a fun backyard warmer. My wife and I enjoy kicking it around the fire pit with a nice Cabernet and a few snacks.

This fire pit had some so-so reviews among several good ones, so I was a little anxious to see what I was getting myself into. When the package arrived within days of my order I was extremely happy. It was well packed and completely protected. I opened it to make sure that it was intact and then sealed it back up without disturbing the packing material because we were in the middle of a week long rain. When the rain finally subsided, I was excited to open it and set it up. Once I pulled the box off (I carefully made a cut with a utility knife along the bottom and pulled the top of the box off of the fire pit) I had to unwrap about 5 layers of plastic that secured the unit. Then I had to separate all of the hard composite material and cardboard from the unit. Once it was all off I was able to see what a great product I had purchased. The fire pit is beautiful and it puts off a lot of heat. I highly recommend this product!

I like this fire pit a lot, but unfortunately mine was slightly damaged in transit. There is a large chunk missing near the top of the fire pit. I’m going to keep it anyways because it took me almost 2 hours just to unwrap it and move it to my backyard. It’s pretty heavy. Looking forward to using it once the winds die down.

This fire pit is beautiful! If you are on the fence, just get it! I was so surprised at how good it looks on our stone patio. This DOES come with a cover, although it is not clear in the description. It also comes with 2 boxes of lava rocks which keep it realistic looking. There are enough lava rocks to fill the pit area and have some left over. The base is extremely realistic as far as stonework is concerned. When I say I was impressed, I mean REALLY! And the best news is that it is completely assembled.

This is a very nice fire pit and reasonably priced. We had been searching for almost a year on the right size and style for our likes and finally came upon this one. It's light enough that two people can easily move (with the tank out). The "stone" on the base looks to be a cross of some fiber board and cement material. It seems durable and should last a long time and fit may decor tastes. One minor glitch was our first unit arrived with some damage from the shipper. Seller immediately sent a replacement. The box on the replacement unit looked worse than the initial when it arrived but the table was fine. FedEx Ground should probably not be hired as your furniture movers but customer service with the seller was great. Don't worry if something happens, they will take care of you so order one today. On a side note, one reviewer mentioned a "5 gal" gas tank. You need a 20# propane tank similar to a gas BBQ grill.

We added this to our outside patio for heat on the cool nights. It works great and we love it. I purchased the blue glass instead of having the rock that it came with. It keeps us warm and the adjustment for heat is really nice. I love that there’s no hose coming out of it. We have gone through two propane tanks in 7 weeks. There is plenty of room for drinks in the top when your not using it.

It took awhile for us to get & keep it lit but it was because we hadn't read the directions. But after using a few gas tanks, we love it. It's now easy to start (because we reread the directions) . We have been sitting outside in the snow and 20+ degrees and enjoying the fire pit. the cover that comes with it is very good too!

I would not purchase this again knowing it’s longevity. In less than a year all of the paint on the top started peeling off and looked terrible. It even peeled off on the underside where it hadn’t had any exposure to the elements. The plaster around the fire ring started cracking within a few months and has come off in chunks and breaking off. For the money spent you would think it would be actual stone on top not just paint that will peel. I applied a coat of concrete to the top hoping to salvage it but it didn’t work, it continues to just come off in chunks. Not only that but it only worked about a year before we had to replace the tubing that connects the propane tank. The igniter also had to be replaced. Now the push button to start it and the knob don’t work. DO NOT buy this you will regret it. Such a waste of money.
