IoniCade Mobile Game Controller for iPhone and iPod touch

This would be a great little gadget...If it worked.

Bought for my grandson to fit his ipod touch which makes gaming better on the ipod but games are restricted to the ones available on the makers Web site in the main, but he loves it. The batteries do run out quite quick so have plenty handy.

That sounds like a strange distinction to make, but bear with me.This is a bluetooth keyboard which looks like a game controller, but only works with apps/games designed to let you map keyboard buttons to controls. That means this controller only works with a hundred or so (mostly rubbish) games which allow you to do this.The actual "iOS 7 Controllers" are real controllers which work with the new Apple feature for Game Controllers, allowing you to play any game which supports the new feature.Pretty much any new game is going to support the Apple version, because it's official and guaranteed to always work. No new games are going to use this old, experimental method.Add in the fact the buttons feel very low quality (which is a shame, considering the unit feels pretty solid otherwise) and my advice would be to skip straight over it, I'm hugely unimpressed.

kids christmas present and they haven't used is yet. Very annoying

There is a reason this item is marked down 90% off.... it does not work well.The price is cheap enough that a return is kind of not worth it as it may one day make a nice backup remote after you realize that this one just doesn't cut it.The game pad does not have an analog stick so that wont work for many emulated games.... but the severe issue that I had is that there is a noticeable delay in the button presses and the response time on the device. This prevents me from being able to pull off any combo moves or any moves that require specific timing. After this I picked up the G910 Wireless Bluetooth Gamepad and have been extremely happy with that remote.

En el iphod de mi hijo , no vale para todos los juegos, sólo los que sean compatibles con icade. Hay que descargarlos en appstore Y son juegos muy antiguos para ellos , estoy muy decepcionada ya que eso no lo explica en la descripción de artículo .

Für den Preis voll zufriedenstellend. Das Gerät funktioniert so wie es soll. Meinem Sohn reicht es. Natürlich gibt es bessere Geräte,aber bei dem Preis soll man nicht meckern

If you can pick this up for $15 or less, it would be 5 stars for me, if it was a bit more, I don't know. My kids loved the one I bought so much I had to order a second. The second one would not turn on, so after a return and a reorder, we now have two that work. The old games work so well with it, all the Atari ones from the Atari app. And some other games have been able to make work, but there is no great way to keep map anything like Minecraft Pocket to work with it.Size wise it is not really pocket size. It adds a lot of bulk, but is still comfortable in the hands.
