Out n About Double Storage Basket (Raven Black)

I ordered this as needed a little extra storage when on long days out. I was a little apprehensive as I've read a few reviews that state the v4 can't be folded with the basket on. Basket arrived and it's a good size & sturdy; attaches very easily to the double pushchair - and doesn't affect the fold whatsoever! I don't know if this is a newer version compared to reviews over a year old, but I have no problem with it and find it very useful.

As all the other reviews, it is awkward to use but does add some useful storage. We find ourselves undoing the Velcro at the front to enable access, if I ever find the time I’ll figure out some kind of quick release clip.

I’ve had my Nipper v4 double for two years. I never bought the basket because of people commenting that you had to remove it to fold the pushchair. It was one extra hassle I did not need when trying to get two toddlers in the car. Fast forward to today. My kids are now 3 and 4 but we are taking this stroller to Disney World in the summer as I have been told it is a wise move with kids up to the age of 5. I bought this basket to use then as it will be handy for towels and flips flops etc. I received it next day and clipped it straight on to my double stroller. It is extremely simple, you barely need instructions. And, the best part (as my title says) THE STROLLER FOLDS WITH THE BASKET ON!!I will likely sell my stroller after my holiday but I wish I had bought this basket at the start and not listened to (wrong) opinions. My two gripes (hence my 4 stars) is that I do feel it is overpriced for a bit of nylon with some velcro, but strollers and accessories always seem to sting us parents. It also hangs very low so I imagine it would get filthy if you use your stroller regularly for many walks - as it is intended for! (Note, I do use Eva wheels rather than the air ones so they do lower the stroller a little as they are smaller).But please do not be put off thinking you cannot fold the stroller with it on, I have no idea why people came up with that comment when it is completely wrong.

Very light to use and easy to put down and up. The only flip side is very little storage for shopping

If you insist on buying this obtain it at the cheapest possible price as it really isn’t worth the money. The actual basket is a good depth but access to it is very difficult. You might just about manage to squash a few jumpers in but that will be it. I tried squashing the double buggy rain cover it but then had a struggle to get it out again without ripping it. Far easier is to put it in the draw string back pockets. The only solution that I can see is to undo the push stud on one side every time you want to put something in he basket or take it out which to my mind is just a fiddle and shouldn’t have to be necessary if the basket had been designed better. The buggy will fold with the basket in place but only if you have removed any items in it first. Would I buy it again?. On balance, NO.

Without this the double pushchair has no storage, this with the changing bag works very well
