DC Current Shunt Type: Asper IS 1248 Range: 100A/75mV Primary rating: 100A Secondary rating: 75mV Accuraccy Class: 1.0 Make: YOKINS Standard: IS 1248 The shunt resistor is a low resistance which is based on the principle that when a DC current flows through a resistor, a voltage is produced across it. As high current cannot be directly measured using ammeters, the shunts are used in series in the circuit with high current and a millivolt drop across the shunt is measured using ammeters connected in parallel to shunt So shunt is used with DC ammeter or any measuring device to measure high currents. Our shunts are manufactured from electrical grade brass in the side blacks and manganin resistance rods in between. Both these are brazed together with perfection to attain high quality industrial grade shunts, meant to be used on full loads without any issue. One year Warranty MADE IN INDIA
