best index cards
These are the best index cards ever! Super sturdy, extra thick. Great for note taking and crafting, drawing... Paper is smooth and fountain pen friendly. No bleed through. They were shipped with care, nicely packaged - so no bend corners during transport. I keep coming back for more.

Very Thick and Bright White - Enjoyable to Use
The Super Thick index cards by Nordstrom Dumati, LLC are very thick as advertised. My need was index cards that did not require a desk or book under them to take notes from an online course and to draw and sketch. The Super Thick Cards were excellent. They were bright white compared to a warm white which can be seen in a side by side comparison in the attached photo. The bright white card in the photo is one of the very thick cards. The warm white card is a thick card from a competing vendor that costs much more than Super Thick index cards. I purchased both items because the reviews on Amazon did not address my concerns. Are these Super Thick index cards hard like wood? No. The are, however, very thick as advertised. They can serve many purposes. They are much thicker than any index card that I have purchased in decades.Does a Sharpie bleed through to the back? No. The Sharpie did not bleed to the back of the card or around the edges of the writing. Can the writing with a Sharpie be seen when held to a light? It depends on the light. If held close to a lightbulb or light box then yes, the writing is visible. If using in normal light or outdoors then no, the writing is not visible.Do the edges bend with normal use? No.Does the paper smudge easily when using pencil? No. This can be a pro or con. If used for art pencil and charcoal sketches, plan to use extra tools and techniques for blending. Can this Super Thick index card be used for watercolor and paints? Yes, but I have not tested enough to make a recommendation. It’s better than any other index card found in retail stores. If liquid like sweat from a cold glass drops on the card, does the card wrinkle? No. I accidentally dripped a few drops of both water and coffe and the card did not wrinkle. Were there any negatives? The white is very white so can be tiring to the eyes. The edges are shown in the photos so that you can see that at least one side of each set of cards has fuzzy pieces from the cutting process making them look unclean. I simply used a tissue to brush off the fuzzy shavings. I thank the reviewers who mentioned the fuzzy edges. The cards take up more space and are heavy in a purse or bag because they are heavier than standard cards. If given to children to be carried in a backpack or if used for speaking notes, expect the cards’ thickness to take up more space. There are some nice looking card carriers for kids’ game cards and interesting teen and adult carriers found on Amazon. They may not say “index card” but can be used for disguising the cards in a fun way. I’m using plastic sandwhich bags for now. Rubber bands will work, but they need to be thick and heavy duty. The Very Thick index cards were a good buy much better than the dollar cards that get quickly ruined and waste my time through quickly bending, smearing, and tearing the first time that I use them. I purchased a second set of two sizes.

What an index card should be!
I have used index cards for many years and they seem to have gotten thinner and thinner until they are actually index paper. These are index CARDS, like they should be. I’m so happy with this product. Nice and thick but not too thick. Very good quality.

Insanely awesome cards
So I love to make my daily “to do” lists on index cards but the regular ones are just too flimsy. On a whim, I searched Amazon for thicker/heavier index sized cards and found these. They were EXACTLY what I was looking for at a very good price!! I received them today and couldn’t be more pleased. They would work great for flash cards, postcards and even place cards. Thank you thank you thank you!!! I love them!!

Great Thick blank Index card
Sharpie does not bleed through to other side and when lying on table other side cannot be seen. Held up to white monitor background; You could slightly see the test side, but minute there is another card behind it you can’t see through it at all. Basic blue pen did not smear at all and could not see other side held up to monitor light. Cards seem to slide decently off one another, and improves with use (kind of like getting new dollar bills that stick a little, but after just 1 use stick a lot less). I am still getting used to grabbing such a thick card, my brain thinks there are two stuck together. Same smoothish texture on both sides of the card (i know other brands i looked at people had trouble with surprise glossy side to battle smearing ink on. Not these though!)
