The lid is made to seal tightly.They are fully stackable. Best silicone ice cube trays I have ever used.

Do the lids stay on tightly?

The lid does attach on, it won’t fall off too easily , however you definitely could not flip it upside down. Stays on reasonably well but does not create any sort of secure seal, more of a splash guard.

Best ice tray I've come across so far!

I love this little guy. Quality feels great - sturdy but malleable. Large cubes come out beautifully polished - and really smoothly! Normally with these things, you have to bust a gut to get some flaky shards out, but these come out pretty effortlessly. Recommend!
