Of course I ordered this to go in the pool for the winter. Here in Minnesota Winter can prove to be the ultimate truth teller. I will have to say. when I received the item, I realized how heavy it was in the box. This is no cheap flimsy balloon. It covers a fair amount of area in my 12' pool. I believe it's a good item at a great price. So now we'll put it to the test. If it makes it... or not... Look for an update to this review!

Held up fairly well
It's held up well over the winter, however they only give you 2 long pieces of string. We don't have a very big pool and we could only tie off 2 corners with it so it has moved throughout the season. Hasn't entirely worked how it should but if they gave you 4 pieces of string I think it would hold better.

I bought this for my pool this past winter it’s way too big. So I’m going with the smaller one
