CD: Liquido,Liquido Review: I love this album - Listened to it once on Grooveshark.com, loved it immediately, bought it and continue to think it is a great album. No point me going on about it as you'll either agree or not once you've heard it! Review: Liquido, "the sweetest sound in town".. - Liquido hit the top lists with "Narcotic", their first single off this album. It's a happy summer song and no wonder it became so popular. But after the summer was gone, everyone seemed to forget Liquido. And that is a shame, because if you listen this album trough you see that "Narcotic" was just a hint of what this band is capable of. They use Moogs and synthesisers together with grunchy overdriven guitars, like Snug & The Rentals did, but they have totally a sound of their on - very sweet, beautiful, melodic. It's truely nothing you have ever heard. The songs are low ("Clicklesley" & "Saturday rocks") to mid-tempo (beautiful "What you keep inside"), but there are few faster songs, too ("Doubledecker"). A 'must' for anyone who loves great melodies and Moog rock! Like they sing in the song "Clicklesley", Liquido surely is "the sweetest sound in town".
