An excellent product!
A great idea for privacy and stopping harmful UV rays on the carpet. I contacted the company for some help and no-one could have been more helpful. Thank you so much!

Good product that’s easy to install
I bought this as I have a lot of neighbours facing me. I’ve started by adding it to my room and found it easy to install. I did get it backwards to start off with (instructions could be clearer) but manage to save it and get it on the right way. There are a few bubbles and soapy/glue marks but all in all a quality product. I will update if t starts to peel or other problems arise. I’m happy that me, a diy novice, was able to install alone. I do have two very large windows I plan to use this type of film on but will get help to install as I can is it being tricky with just one person for a large window. So, for total daytime privacy and ease of use - I recommend this product. Minus one star for instructions and makes/ bubbles

works and not too dark
This works very well. You need to use a lot of water, spraying both the window and the film when you apply it. It's not too dark (other samples we got from elsewhere were much darker) and you can look out of it without a problem. It does provide privacy and the windows are not as mirror like as you expect from the outside. We liked it enough to buy it a second time for more windows. It is easier if two people apply it on larger windows. A tradesman damaged the film on one window and it's relatively easy to peal off and put on a new piece.

Really difficult to apply without a bubble or wrinkle !
I have purchased and applied these on 8 windows so far and they are a real pain to apply. First problem is they have to be handle with extreme care or they will wrinkle or blemish and it will almost impossible to get rid of the marks. Next it is difficult to separate the clear backing film from the foil, the suggested method of using adhesive tape id fiddly and doesn't always work. When applying to the window you have to spray BOTH the window AND the sticky side of the foil otherwise the foil will stick to itself. The foil shows the slightest bubble and it is almost impossible to apply smoothly without a crease or bubble. You need a really sharp blade to trim the foil on the window frame. I used a credit card and held the blade against it while moving the card along the edge of the window frame. Out of the 8 windows I only succeeded in getting 1 window without bubble or creases or blemishes.

Damaged my window
Long story short- the possibility of damaging double pane glass is there.Applied on some of the windows around the house, installation itself is an involved process but just make sure you measure properly and use lots of soapy water (get a spray bottle) and you'll be fine.Privacy wise, they do a good job. If you get close enough you can make out what's inside. As others have said though, if the inside is brighter than outside, then you can see though without issue.NOW. The biggest issue I have is that now one of my windows has cracked. A double pane window that has cracked on the side the film is stuck to. I think it's related to heat, though it was a pretty mild night when this happened. The reflective side of the film obviously reflects heat as well, causing the air/gas between the glass to heat up. The pressure on the glass builds and voila! Cracked glass.Trying to remove the film is also difficult as the adhesion is quite strong. Slowly removing with a hairdryer seems to be the way to go.Long story short- be careful. Facing a very expensive window repair now and I have to remove all the film I've applied elsewhere to prevent this happening elsewhere.

Superb! If you know what you’re doing
It comes with instructions and point you to a video guide. I must admit I put the clear sheet on window, then realised it’s the foil with the adhesive backing that is placed on windows. Make sure you spray with water and drop of washing up liquid as advised. Take your time - worth the effort.
