Unfortunately to my ears (I have experience producing music), not any better than apple dongle.

Short review because it's a relatively simple product...Extremely clear DAC/Amp combo, especially for IEM's (which is what I use it for). No compatibility issues with Linux. It has driven everything from very sensitive single-DD, to power-hungry planars, to 9-driver monstrosities with 3 and 4 different types of transducers (all using the 4.4 balanced output). No complaints, no hissing, no drama of any kind.It replaced my work DAC and Amplifier separates.Oh - and it's tiny.Very highly recommended.

Purchased because I bought an IEM with balanced cables and it did its job. I haven’t had a problem running it with MULTIPLE IEMs and the volume buttons feel great.

This little amplifier is remarkable. Paired with my balanced ER4SR earphones, the sound is the best I have experienced. I had been very happy with my Tempotec E44 amp, and I did not expect much difference with the Space. And yet the Space is even better. I would describe the sound as clear, resolving, uncolored, and accurate.The seller didn't do a great job with providing useful tracking information or communication. But the device itself is a winner.

It has great measurements but the volume buttons completely broke and I am not hard on my audio equipment.
