Nice beginners book
It's always good to have written documentation for reference. I tried printing the manual and the cost would have been close to $100 so you're this for cheap and has sufficient information to get you stated and also as a reference.

This was an utter waste! Whenever I use a new DAW, I buy a random basic "how to". However, this "how to", is not only poorly written it's useless and picture screenshots aren't even readable. If you play an instrument forget it, this is NOT the manual for you. Who puts something like this and calls it "how to" book.

Poor examples, barely ledgable
More of a reference than a how-to. It is more of an engineers perspective than a musicians. Not current version of Logic Pro.
