Product description Rimblades is a UK based company manufacturing four types of alloy wheel rim protectors, sold under the brand names of Rimblades, Rimbands, Scuffs and Trims4Rims. Scuffs alloy wheel rim protectors are a new product for 2014. Scuffs are made from a durable lightweight plastic developed specially for us for use as a rim protector. Scuffs have a flat rear side that is attached to the face of the wheel with a VHB (very high bond) tape and a guide lip on the top side helps to get a perfect fit. The Scuffs material is durable and easy to wipe clean. They are supplied in 4 x 1.9 metre lengths. This is enough to fit wheels up to 22” in diameter. Scuffs are simply cut to the required length during the fitting procedure. Additionally because Scuffs are made from a plastic you can as an option use super glue (not included) to join the two ends during fitting for perfect results. Scuffs have a 6mm wide VHB tape on the rear side, so need a flat or slightly curved fitting area wide enough for the tape to adhere. They won’t fit wheels that have a lip or those with balance weights on a lipped surface. Scuffs are available in 9 colours-Red, Blue, Yellow, Pink, Silver, Black, Orange, White & Lime Green.
