DC Comics Direct Green Lantern Series 4: Green Lantern Hal Jordan (

I wasn't all too excited about this figure when I ordered it. I'm more of a Kyle Rayner fan than Hal Jordan, and I've already got the Green/Blue half-n-half figure from the Blackest Night series. However, I needed a Hal Jordan for my Green Lantern-only shelf, and I wanted something unique, so this was my answer. Upon getting it out of the package and checking it out, though, I've gotta say I'm very impressed. The figure looks REALLY cool against the light, and his battery is transparent as well, so it doesn't look awkward. He's got the standard articulation, and the joints are nice and tight, allowing for excellent pose-ability. If you're not a Hal Jordan fan, but need one for your collection, go with this one. It makes an excellent center piece for your shelf, ESPECIALLY if it's illuminated.

Now I will just get straight to the point. This Green Lantern us a nice change of pace. It's translucent green that when held up in front of a light apiece, it looks like it glows.It has usual DC Direct articulation. I originally bought it to glow in the dark but IT DOES NOT glow in the dark. I wish DC would've explained what power glow meant.Even though it does not glow in the dark, it does look like it glows when placed in front a light source, which is what power glow means.All in all, It does look nice and it is a good to great display piece. 4 out of 5.

What can I say I love clear figures. This figure is cast in a very cool and bright clear green very true to the Lanterns. He reuses a same body as many other figures so it makes for a cool little variant. The paint work is very minimal but very clean.

Bought this for my 4 year old son. He loves it. Only bummer is the lantern...it broke on its way out of the package. The handle just breaks right off. So we drilled a hole through the lantern and put a string on it as a handle instead... Gotta do what ya gotta do...good enough to make my son happy. But obviously shouldn't break that easily. I would like to give the green lantern man a 5 star, but the lantern a 2 star. Because the guy is so sturdy and cool, we will edge up to a 4 :)

We bought this because our 2 boys love super heroes and this figure was super cheap. My 4 year old loves it and has continued to carry it with him for weeks! The lantern is cheaply made, but the figure itself is cool!
