A traditional handmade Dhokra Bankura Horse that is used as table décor. Dhokra Art is created by using the Lost Wax Process. The name Dhokra is derived from the Dhokra Kumar tribesmen who are the traditional metal workers of the tiny tribal community of Bastar in India. Although this art form is now practiced in a tribal belt that runs through parts of four states in India, by far the highest quality of workmanship is produced in Bastar, in the state of Chattisgarh.
