Fun and easy to use on my art projects

This one is so easy to use and i after some practice i was able to get the hang of it. Works so well and gives you lots of control! If you want to start out i highly suggest this pen!

This is a very nice wood burning gift for the beginner because of the variety of tips - simple and easy but with enough variety to make it interesting. The included instructions are clear and appear to be thorough.There was a letter inside signed by the company owner and included a QR code for extra tips but the QR code didn’t work. I sent an email to the given contact email but never received a response, which is why I took off one star.

I got this just in time to start making Halloween signs and designs. With only a few weeks until Halloween I thought the learning curve may be steep but this is really quite easy to use. I make all of my outlines in pencil then trace the outline with the wood burner. I couldn't be easier!

I barely had this item 20 days & it stopped working. I emailed the seller & it’s been 5 days now & no reply. I would look elsewhere for an this type of item. Went to Habor Freight paid less then half of this charge & bought one that has been working great!!

I absolutely love this gun. I’ve been through several and this is the first one I haven’t had to alter because they would get too hot. Did a great job on my project. And the sellers are very personable. Highly recommended!

Last mi Ute buy for an extra gift. My teen likes it. He takes woodshop so just something to mess around with.

Tried to contact seller prior to this review, but unable to, only got some Amazon assistance pop up. And I seldom leave a review. But exception for this item. Worked great for six months, used once and sometimes twice a week, today it no longer worked (failed to hear up). Kinda thought I’d get another just like it in the future, but less than a year of use, I’ll look to upgrade to one more dependable. Really wished I could have been able to contact the seller for support and just let them know about my concerns without having to leave a public review.

Don’t get me wrong, i think this product is probably a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ BUT! One of my wood burning tips actually broke, I would assume it was too hot and the end snapped. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is beacause I cannot get in contact with the sellers about this issue.

Such an ideal tool kit to get started wtih wood burning art and design!Everything is organized into a great little plastic case; just remove the inner packaging after the fact if you want, and store it all inside. Maybe grab a little bag to keep the various heads in, when not in use.I LOVE the flexible metal stand that’s included. I hate not having a dedicated surface for any type of tool that I’m using, whether it’s a paint brush or a fork while eating, lol. So this was a thoughtful (and safe) inclusion!The pyro “pen” is a smart design, has a heavy-duty grip to hold, and the cord length connecting it to power is a helpful length. You can feel safe without restriction, which if it were too short, could cause accidents from quick movements. Just be sure to be mindful of the long cord, like using any other type of electronic tool.The seller was clearly very thoughtful with this product. There’s a multitude of burning tip heads, stencils, and a fabulous brochure pamphlet to help inform, learn, and encourage being creative with it. I’m very impressed! I have a couple pieces of wood just waiting to be transformed by this toolkit. The media could not be loaded. I had a wood burning kit when I was a kid, but never really learned to appreciate it. Now some several decades on, I’ve decided to give it another go.The good part is it comes with many attachments, alphabet template, manually adjustable thermostat, and 18 wood burning tips to get you started.The bad part would be the flimsy tool holder that I suspect won’t take too many opening and closings, and the fact that it comes in a plastic case when the manual refers to putting things back in the metal case.Okay I realize that’s nit picking, but a metal case would make a lot more sense as this plastic case won’t hold up.The instructions are……well they are there, but they aren’t the best.I solved the tool holder problem by just resting the tool down on an old saw blade, and I use a pair of channel locks to get the hot tip off.As for the burning part……well it all depends on the wood you use (which their booklet talks about), and the temperature that you set it at.In my quick little video I turned the thermostat to high, and let it sit for a few minutes before I started making my happy face.The “wand” will take a bit of getting use to as your instinct will be to use it like a pen or pencil, and you do, you just have to hold it up higher than your comfortable with.I have a small fan that is just situated out of frame, but pointing towards the wood, and it helps keep the smell (and possible smoke) out of your face.There are some good stencils that you can find online to help you with your projects, but I found that doing a rough (light) sketch with a pencil was pretty quick and easy to do.I’ve decided to do a bunch of hacking around first to get better acquainted with the bits before I move into making the family sign, but each persons skill and confidence will obviously vary.Despite me nit picking at a few things, I think this is a great beginners tool and a joy to play with.
