Strong magnet
It worked perfectly to help us find where the nails were located behind a plasterboard wall.

Both sides are magnetic. M10 bolt fits through snugly.
Used this as a sort of magnetic washer to hold a bolt, that I had drilled a hole through, to the underside of an engine block so I could use this as a guide to drill out a broken stud without having to remove the engine. Magnet holds well, probably around 3 to 5kg of holding force, which is plenty for what I need. Both sides are magnetic. Pleased with it.
