I was really impressed with how well this product was made. Everything snapped together with little effort. The directions suggest a two person build, and yeah, that's gonna be necessary to finish it.I built most of it by myself. The directions have you assemble the lower part and upper parts separately, then lift the upper part onto the lower part. For that, you need two people. As my wife an I did that, I was expecting to have to wiggle the top part around to get it to sit onto the base, but nope, it slid right in, just like the rest of the machined parts. Very slick design.Like the other reviews said, it is a long build. With two people throughout the process, it's easily a 3-4 hour build. It took me the most part of a day. That's with taking some breaks and a toddler running around. The 'bench' also is not very practical to be used to sit on and put your shoes on. It sits very high.The pictures in the directions could have a little more detail when orienting the pieces during assembly, but if you take your time and pay attention to how the pieces are oriented, you shouldn't have a problem. There was only once where I had to take two pieces apart because one was upside down.Having said all that...I'm very happy with the final product. It looks great. Feels sturdy and stores all our shoes and coats.

We love this piece! It is very well made and sturdy. Color is perfect! Looks just like the picture - will fits ours needs perfectly, functionality meets our needs. We were pleasantly surprised about the quality! Much nicer than expected! Follow the instruction book and you won’t have any issues! Make sure you have 2 people to assemble, at times the weight is too much for one. Overall weight is more than I expected, that is due to the quality of the pieces. Took us about 3 1/2 hours to assemble (with distractions). Pieces are well labeled. This order comes in 2 boxes - ours were delivered about 4 days apart - but that was a FedEx issue. I would buy furniture from this seller again!

I will say that I looked forever for a hall tree and I’m glad I decided on this. I sincerely hope it never breaks with a move because it took me 4 hours to put together on my own. It was honestly terrible to put together. I did have trouble getting some of the screws in bc it wasn’t aligning right but with help, we got it. It looks great and has tons of hooks. It’s fairly sturdy. I didn’t secure it to the wall but it did come with hardware if you have small children who climb. I knew it didn’t have a bench, but that would be the only thing I would change if I could. Overall I am super happy with it.

I put this at the entrance of my home, and it looks super nice. It was a little more expensive compared to the other shoe/entrance trees, but it was worth it. One of the doors slightly rubs when closing, but it just needs some adjustment and it's good.Assembly wasn't too bad, took me maybe 2 hours.

It was somewhat time consuming to put together, but totally worth it!

I spent weeks researching entry way organizers. I finally settled on this one. I am glad I purchased this one. It was pretty easy to put together, about 3.5 hours from unpacking to fully set up. Directions were very easy to follow. There are plenty of cubbies for shoes and hooks for purses, coats, etc. the until is sturdy and just the right size. The design is attractive as well. Only con I can find is it cost an extra $60 bucks to have it delivered to my home.

As a person who enjoys putting furniture together I would say this was not very hard. It takes a bit of time though if you're doing it by yourself. I've put together a lot of furniture and this is really sturdy and the materials seem to be a nice quality. Not to mention, it looks beautiful.

It was easy to follow the instructions to put together but it did take a bit of time. It’s very sturdy and is a great piece to hold everything that we need by the front door; dog leashes, treats, mail, etc. The cabinet underneath is wonderful to hide away gloves, hats and shoes. Very happy with this purchase!
