It only detects very loud noises like doors closing or strong winds whipping branches around. It refuses to hear dogs barking. We have self-unaware neighbors with loud yippy dogs and big barky dogs - we're literally surrounded. The only time it ever turns on is when we don't want it to, and when it does turn on, it makes an annoying human audible tone that everyone can hear.I've tried multiple brands of these cheap device and now i'm resorting to making my own remote controlled version using components from Kemo found here on Amazon.

It beeps when I open the door, when you shut the door, at the tv, at my Alexa. So sensitive. Not worth it at all

It worked ok for a day or two. It doesn’t bother my daughter’s dog what so ever. She just keeps barking and barking. My dog doesn’t like it and he stopped. I kinda guess it is worth it.

Another piece of junk. Activates with any noise. Even on the lowest setting. I open the door and it goes off. They are all junk. China can’t make it that it would activates with high pitched noise like they are supposed to. Returning it.

Doesn’t work every single time. It depends on what they’re barking about. I don’t allow it to go off if they’re barking like normal dogs but if they’re going nuts over garbage that shouldn’t be barked about it’s on and many many times it works. After lauoff, I’m getting two more. One for the car, one for the front room, one for my bedroom that I’ll use for walks too.

Totally worthless! We have 4 dogs and, although you can hear the machine making clicking, the dogs ignore it. Complete waste of money! I would return it if I still had the box :-(

I have a 62 lbs retriever lab that liked to bark at any movement outside . The boxed inside the house worked great he would wine but not bark when watching out the window. In the back yard he chased critters and the other dogs barking up and down the fence. I found it was not effected for him ,the range didn't seem to work as well as described. Also quick note I could not hear the high pick beep but 2 out 3 of my daughters could .

Doesnt work the greatest to keep dog from barking and I can hear the high pitch sound so almost gives you a headache
