Worked exactly as expected… a real value for the money

I have been making costumes for around thirty years, and this tool kit is a huge time saver. Worked well with the fake leather steampunk corset I made for Halloween. I ended up denting a couple of the grommets before I started using the tool. (which looks sort of like a plumbers wrench)You do need to be able to firmly press the two handles together while the tool is centered on the grommet and cloth. I suggest a few trial runs on scrap material before you try it on your project.

I found it awkward. The grip was too large for my hand so I needed to use both hands. I was successful about 50% of the time.Maybe they all require two hands... I don't know.If I ordered another size, I would spend more $ .

The grommet clamp works perfectly, but the hammer that comes with the set, although cute, is worthless, and the hole punch bends pretty easily after minimal use.

I bought this because the price was right for my budget. It is well built, sturdy and easy to use!
