Fossil Brooke Satchel

I spent weeks on Amazon trying to find the perfect purse for me, and my dream purse had to be black. I decided on this purse and I’m disappointed that I did.I’m very underwhelmed with this purse. The black color is so faded/dull/lifeless you can barely tell it’s a black from far away. I feel like this really takes away from the overall quality of the purse. I’m not even sure it’s 100% leather, or maybe it’s old. It came with dull/ashy scuff marks. I really expected a deep black.After taking out the packaging, as seen in the photos, one of the pockets came irreparably bent. I’m still trying to get it to straighten out by keeping that pocket full.I actually loved the interior design with the two large open pockets and the zippered pocket. The zipper pocket is great and large. Surprisingly, even though the open pockets are deep, stuff falls out of it into the center compartment. That’s a huge con I wasn’t expecting.The front and back buttoned compartments on the outside of the purse are wonderful. No complaints there.I was over the moon when reviews said the purse “looks like a mini suitcase” as that’s the exact vibe I wanted. However it doesn’t really feel that way in person. It harbors a lot of air so even if the purse isn’t full, it appears full and its really wide looking on my petite body. I’m not sure if this is because of the rounded and square elements to the purse but it doesn’t work for me. This is something I didn’t think would bother me or that I’d even notice. The purse perpetually appears distended on my body and I don’t like it.Another con is that Fossil designed the center compartment to have a single zipper. This is honestly a huge design flaw. I can only wear it front facing on one side of my body because of where the zipper ends up.I was really excited to have the key hang from my purse, but the leather strip it came with was bent and awkward so no matter how I arranged it, it always looked bent/out of place. It never rest normally like it does In stock photos. That was a tiny detail I was excited about that I was disappointed in.The dimensions as stated in the product information is inaccurate as several other reviewers have noted. But I wanted it to be bigger, and I think the size is perfect for me and my needs.Overall, this is the most money I’ve ever spent on a purse, and I’m not sure if I’m going to keep it. It’s been a week and a half and I do enjoy having it, there’s just so many little things I didn’t think would be such a nuisance. It’s unfortunate because I fell in love with the photos.I hope this helps someone else make an informed decision.

I would not have purchased this purse if I'd paid attention to the measurements. It seems too big to be just a purse. If I can find a larger wallet to use with it to carry when I'm shopping, it might not seem so cumbersome.

I just love this purse. I absolutely adore it. It is spacious whiles keeps your stuff organized. Beautiful leather and color. It also has beautiful bronze hardware. I will be able to treasure and use it for many years to come. It is classy. One of my favorite purses.

Las bolsas fossil siempre he considerado que siempre son duraderas y de muy buena calidad. Sus precios son elevados pero han sido las mejores adquisiciones en bolsas que he hecho.Es espaciosa, la correa es de buen tamaño para no cansarte si llevas muchas cosas, tiene suficientes compartimentos, dan muchas cosas. Yo cargo con un ipad 12.9" aunque no se logra cerrar la bolsa.

Es muy linda y de buena calidad esta bolsa pero es bastante pesada
