Very fine and clean
I loved the fine texture of this product. But Do Not rinse it before putting it in tank. There are no directions on the bag. You have to remember the description of the product that is given on Amazon when you purchase it.It states it has been cleaned 3 times and can go straight into the tank. So please don't rinse it as it will leave a big mess and you have to let it dry enough before placing in the tank otherwise your humidity will go through the roof and you will probably cause it to be too wet for the snake. It does hold moisture well. The price was great for the size of the bag. I ended up mixing it with some subsaturate I already had and it then was safe to put in my tank.Again, one does not need to clean it before placing in the tank. I wish there were some directions on the bag.

Great for my retic
This coconut fiber mix is perfect for my reticulated python. It's fine, there aren't any big pieces or chunks of anything to hurt her. When she goes to the bathroom it's super easy to clean. The big bag was exactly what we needed, if we have to take some out, we have plenty of extra to put back in. It holds moisture well when misted.

Love this brand
I used to get the blocks of Coco coir but this is much better quality. It's bulkier to buy this way but it's easy to use right out of the bag. I have yet to find mites in anything I've purchased from them but still a good idea to put the bag in the freezer for a day before you use it. I also really like the variety in chip sizes they offer too!

Good for humidity regulation, but be careful with snake feeding
Good, clean, soft earthy feel and smell. Corn snake likes burrowing in it, but only after moisture evaporates from initial water prep. It does do a great job of keeping humidity levels up for a longer period of time. Have to definitely be careful when feeding snakes inside enclosures with this in it. Dry off all moisture very thoroughly on frozen, thawed meals or the particles will stick to the prey, especially when a snake begins rolling around when constricting. If dried well though, not really a problem so much, but can still happen if the substrate is damp on the top. I am currently also using it with a ball python with success. May still get a thicker substrate for both of those snakes next time though.

The breeder pack has absolutely a ton of bedding! it comes in a small block but once you separate it with water, you get so much!! my corn snake absolutely loves this substrate! very worth the $25

It's moist substrate
So I use coconut substrate for my pet rabbit. Zoomed loose is dry and so is Catspot, so I was hoping this would be the same, but it's definitely moist. It still works like it's supposed to. Probably would be great for reptiles. But for me using it as Bunny litter I would used it again if my other options aren't available. Again great for reptiles, a bit moist for bunny litter. But definitely easy clean up

Best coconut fibber bedding!!
The media could not be loaded. I tested many brands to get the perfect coconut fibber for my lil hamster and this one definitely won! My hamster had so much fun digging into it! Its very clean too and very safe for reptiles, rodents and other kind of animals :) You can also use it for your plants! I will def buy more.
