Planetarium Projector,Star Projector,Galaxy Projector,Night Light,Galaxy Light Projector

Originally I was going to get this for a friend but I loved it so much that I kept it and got my friend something else. It comes with very pretty projection disks, and it’s easy to use and has very helpful functions. There is a setting where you can turn off the surrounding light around the projection and that is very helpful and limits the amount of light if you sleep with it on. Overall it has helped me relax and it’s even helped me sleep better. This is also perfect for small parties when you don’t want the lights on but don’t want to be in the dark. It’s perfect for hanging out and overall I recommend this product 100%

This was a gift to my 11 year old godson. Here are his comments: The projector is so cool. It's super easy to use. All you have to do is plug it in. There are so many different projects to choose from. The only thing I dislike about it is the cord is a tad too short. The star lights are cool. All the colors look awesome! I love that it rotates. I also like that you have the option to turn off the projection and still have the star lights. The projector is still and does not shake. I LOVE my projector.

Really great projector for a big kids bedroom, or any room. The images were bright and I like the options it offers to change the pattern cards for different projections. I did return item because of my preference reasons, not because of the product quality. I preferred a more ‘little’ kid bubbly images. Also, I wish this had an option for soundscapes/music. In a few years this is going to be an item I look for! It is a well-made product for the price!

I bought this for my grandson, he is fascinated with the stars. I unboxed it to make sure it works before gifting it. It has a usb cable but no way to plug it into the wall, so I’m giving 4 stars for that reason. Luckily my iPhone charger plug fit it, so you might want to know that you can’t just plug it into the wall. I was surprised at how pretty the images appeared on the ceiling, so I’m excited to see what he thinks.

I originally purchased a more expensive projector that contained a built-in battery, but then I saw that this Galaxy Projector was much less in cost compared to the other one. I decided to buy it and give it a try since I really wasn't sure that I really required a battery. The Galaxy is compact and projects well for it's size. But first you must set you expectations and know what you are looking for. This is not one of those dazzling star projectors that projectors sparkles, stars, in an array of colors all over the place, this in an essence is a "slide projector".The better the quality of the slide, the sharper and more realistic the projected images will be. Overall while the slides were not extremely realistic in comparison to the more expense brand, they were acceptable for what these things are purposed for. I projected it over a king-sided bed and it filled the circle nearly perfectly in terms of size comparison. You'll need a well darkened room to really get the full effect. Blackout curtains or a windowless room are great in the daytime, with ambient light it isn't so bad, but a dark room is where this works best. The projector has a slide rotation mode and it has a timer. I have not tried the timer but I've used the slide rotator function while laying back on the bed starring up at the ceiling. Within 2 to 3 minutes I felt a little dizzy and thought to myself, "this is a bad idea if you have a hungover".All in all, if you want the sharpest image possible, you'll need the buy the more expensive brands at 3X the cost of this one in order to get the HD slides that fit them since they are not interchangeable with the lower-end brands. The quality of the slides is what what's make the biggest difference essentially in all of these projectors (The projected image footprints are roughly the same in comparison).In my opinion, for the price, this Galaxy projector can't be beat if you are looking for lower cost but fully capable solution. It makes a great gift and it already comes with two sets of slides (12 slides total). The more expensive projector only include one slide and cost $10 each additional slide).The images I posted were captured with my cell phone and are of images projected on the ceiling above my bed. It can project a wider footprint if I placed it on the floor in the center of the room, but there's a king-sized bed in the way.The only issue I found with this projector is the slide tray gets a little stuck and it can be difficult to pull out with pull tab provided. It contains no grip, therefore, use care when inserting the slide so that it does not get stuck (insert gently).YMMV

I was looking for a night light that features space or galaxy and this projector does the trick. The settings are very simple and it doesn’t not need a whole lot of “space” lol needless to say it was definitely worth it. This projector includes 7 different discs that display: 1 the Milky Way, 2 variety of galaxies, 1 crescent moon & clouds, 2 varieties of planets, and 1 that symbolize Christmas night (I think). The adjustments of clarity is simple and it works well it’s located on the lens area. Just turn the part that is around the lens (do not touch the lens itself) left or right to adjust. My ceiling is bright white in color so the projector works really well with the background. There are are four buttons to change the setting and timer (you must read the manual to understand). Overall I think it’s a great night light for anyone.

I'm sad to write this review. This is the second projector I've purchased. The first one got really loud after about 6 months. The second one seemed ok, although it seemed like the rotation wasn't working right. The new and improved slides are truly breathtaking. However, about half were a tiny bit warped, so they stick in the rotation and you get a weird click and then the image bounces backwards. It's odd and bothers my 6 year old, who uses this as a night light. She loves this thing but we ended up having to get rid of alot of beautiful slides because they just didn't work right. We've only had it for a few months. So my review is mixed. It's beautiful and magical, and we all love it. But the quality is bad and the life span is short.

Having just visited JPL, I was really intrigued to get a projector so I could look at the night sky in the evening before going to bed. While this projector does not necessarily depict the clearest night sky, it generates a wonderful atmosphere, and I love the many disks it comes with, which are easy to switch between. I will definitely recommend this, and it makes me happy before I go to bed.
