I'm a 67 year old woman and could easily and correctly place this around the front door frame. At first the door closer was tight, now it's perfect, took a couple of days. Very good quality and value for the money, I'm in South Florida and it's keeping the air conditioning in and the humidity outside. Good quality, good product. I'm very impressed.

Painted my door and dripped paint on the old stripping- what a mess! Checked YouTube for painting ideas and the said pull out the old stripping, paint, and install new stripping.Because of drips and poor brushing repainted door looked like hell- guess it would have been smarter to read hints first. The replacement door stripping pushes in to slots in the trim. Looks great and saves hours of work.

Have had it installed for a few weeks now. Appears to hold up well. Is thick as advertised and provides a good seal

Product seems to be well made vs. some of the other garbage out there. Won’t know for a while if it holds up under regular use. Fits in kerf groove snugly. Easy to install - it is coiled for shipping but doesn’t cause any install issues / challenges. I wouldn’t recommend this for a a properly hung / square door with normal gap. I had a gap (could see some daylight when closed) in my 30" external door to garage and it works great for that.However, I installed on another external door with no gaps / issues and it takes some force to close the door the final bit so lock engages as the seal is super tight against the door. Not a bad thing, but if your door has old hinges or screws / wood that are marginal I believe this larger seal material would put enough stress on them to develop bigger problems down the road. I assume the foam will compress a bit and lose memory over time, so maybe this will be a non-issue.

We have a door with a larger gap that the old kerf strip didn’t reach. This sealed the doorway perfectly. Even smaller gaps would benefit from this high-reach weatherstripping. It comes in one long strip which is better than 8’ strips because you end up with many unusable pieces.

Easy to install and was the width I needed to seal the door

Perfectly fit in my backdoor to replace the old weather stripping. It's thicker than the old weather stripping so I have to push the door completely closed. However it completely seals and there is no light or water coming through. Better than the weather stripping I could find at the local big box stores.

Super nice construction, but while it is folded up in the package, it reaaallllyyyy crimps and can be a beast to install into the Kerf slot. Hot sunny day can help straighten it out a bit but not all.

It says it can cover a gap as big as 4/5". I can confidently tell you that this does not even cover a 1/4" gap. They have tripled the capabilities of this weather stripping on their listing.
