Delivery was sooner than expected which is always good for me.Assembling it was extremely easy if you’re good with your hands and reading instructions.Took me 2 hours to fully assemble, could of taken hour and a bit if I had a power tool instead of the tools they provide you with, probably 30 minutes if 2 of you have power tools.I have fairly heavy foam mattress and the gas assist holds it up perfectly when trying to get stuff from underneath so it being a little stiff benefits a lot but just takes a fair push down to put it back- not a problem.If you have ever had wooden slats for a bed then you know to not jump on it or make sudden heavy movements in one place, it’s just common sense... also put all the wooden slats bowed upwards against the mattress for best results for a flat and stronger bed.Doesn’t make any annoying squeaky noise especially when having a restless ‘sleep’ ;)Perfect and true to size, with huge storage space height, width and length.Love how it looks in the room as well, looks classy.Definitely worth it for the amount you pay, so impressed my other family members will be buying themselves one soon.I advise you to be careful with the long and wide package box out of the two you revive, as this has the backboard in with all the bits and bobs and the backboard has a thin layer of wood- either I was or the delivery guy was a bit rough with it so broke in a few places, but didn’t cause any structural issues or noise, if it does then just put some gorilla tape over it and problem solved.If you want to get a ottoman bed that’s not a eye soar amount then you must get this bed. It will be worth it !

Straightforward to assemble but follow instructions carefully and use hand tools not power tools - this means it'll take a bit longer, but definitely worth it. Ample room for storage and looks good too.

Looks great

Not too difficult to put together but definitley takes one person more than the stated 90 minutes to assemble.The instructions say it requires 2 people to assemble but once the sides are attached to the headboard and footboard you would just get in each others way, hence the reason I did it myself.I've deducted a star because the hardest part of the whole job was also the simplest, namely fitting the woven fabric to the underside of the bed, I had to really stretch it to get it onto the velcro fasteners.Once assembled it's difficult to close first time round but soon becomes easier, I'm writing this review less than 24 hours after assembling it and already I've noticed it easing off slightly.So, enough waffle, would I recommend this bed? that would be a big YES

We fitted both hydraulic rams and bed would not close with 2 men pushing it down ,the frame started to bend and would have caused catastrophic damage. We removed the over powered hydraulic openers and just use as a bed. Contacted the company,but not interested!. We purchased the bed percificaly for the storage purposes,due to storage issues,as a bed only it's ok good quality.

I bought this for my son and we put it together fairly quickly which was easy enough. Its good that it can be used for storage and lifts and drops easily enough with little pressure. Stays up without the mattress on and needs the weight to hold it down. So far it seems sturdy and none of the wood bits have broken which I was worried about. All in all a good bed and very good value for money.

Excellent; n price good quality very very comfortable well please I brought this it's just what I needed two people easily fit in this small double with still plenty of room
